i just tried calling Radisson, Sheraton, and Crowne. asked for may 22 through 25, and mentioned the code things from the anime north site. none of those said they have availability for all of 22-25.

any tips? do rooms usually free up closer to the event, or would looking elsewhere be advisable?

most hotels don't really know if there's extra room(s) until it's closer to the actually dates, so try calling again in march or so. last year, I was initially booked for the doubletree but got a radisson room last minute in like april after someone canceled their reservation. a lot of people cancel reservations because shit happens aka poor budgeting, not enough room mates, etc.

recall them and ask them to be put on their waitlist for free rooms. :P

@Pat imma pass, but thanks a million for the offer other hotels would absolutely suffice, but being able to walk to and fro sounds so amazing. gotta think on it. thanks for the resources as always!
