also should mention that every tablet player here except me hovers their pen over the tablet and clicks using Z/X or whatever key combination they have set exclusively.

I use a mixture between hovering and dragging (drawing) and tapping. It all depends on the map. I never limit my skill to just one style. There are even maps (usually older maps) that I do miles better with mouse. (I will admit that I did used to hover everything though so it's understandable if you never knew about my change).

I almost always end up with a miss or two lul

Then there are times when I don't miss lul
