When beary started the 8th official, he was a pretty high D3 player. By the time the second half of the tournament hit, he was easily mid-D5; I recall everyone going insane about his Crow's Ghost score, haha.

Yeah, it was kind of out of the blue, he posted the score in the rivalry thread and I kind of just went. "uuuuuuuuuuuuh, SDG on Crow's Ghost is D3? Whaaaaaa?"

Nobody ever said he was. The point is, Beary and arcn ended up winning their divisions because of how much they skillboosted. Beary was in d3 and arcn was in d2. They are both in d6 now.

Beary/Arcn's skill boosting is definitely respectable though, just shows how much effort they put into the game/tourney

Agreed. I have a lot of respect for the winners in d4/d5 because of how much they have improved. Their scores on their finals songs is just sick.

I remember of me some months ago " crying hard " because you placed me as d4 on the mp tourney, i also didnt had any expectation to get high on this official, but well look what i got hehe

I understand how upset you are, Toxophilis, and I have been following how hard you have worked to get where you are today. But that does not excuse you from making accusations against other users in this thread. When placing linebro at the start of the tournament, his only notable score was a blackflag on Yoshi's Cookie (47). The placement team collectively voted on the most appropriate division, noting that everything else in his levelranks jumped off a cliff after this point. In order to win a division, you must progress beyond it. And for that, I expect you to treat him with the same respect you would anyone else participating in this tournament. The finger pointing stops here.

To be honest, you're up against 2 players that are D7 at this point.

Plus you're up against pretty much a Stepmania player with several WR's. Not sure about the other guy. Still a mystery player (that we all think is an alt).
