I'll break it down for you. I watch NA (and sometimes KR), I don't watch EU. KR is "the best" just because Monte says so. From the little bit I've seen of them EU plays completely differently than NA. NA plays a lot more similarly to KR than EU so someone like me expects that in terms of metagame NA is further along than EU.

Worlds comes along and EU beats KR more than NA does. Mass panic in the streets etc.

At the end of the day though everyone was expecting Korea to stomp EVERYONE. There haven't even been that many "stomps" so far. It's refreshing as I was one of the few people that said NA/EU were going to do better than everyone thought. Compared to S2 worlds the other regions are actually getting tons of practice they didn't have before with the introduction of the LCS and now that teams are getting analysts etc there really is no excuse for one region to have a massive advantage. (except the bs excuse of genetics)

in the US nobody gives a fuck about anything except quick $$$ and everyone is afraid of effort

just because NA plays similarly to KR doesn't mean they can execute the play style properly. it has nothing to do with meta.

Well if I can fault you on anything its that this isnt true. At least as far as the reddit hivemind is concerned, the general consensus has been that NA>EU. Even after the showing at Worlds I still think it's close and I still think Cloud9>EU.

no need to crucify people over it though, its just an opinion.

I really can't wait to see the clash of regions when an aggressive and underfarmed Chinese jungler like Lovelin comes up against Meteos's more farmed Cloud 9 jungle style.

there's never been an underfarmed vs overfarmed jungler ideal here it's just kr jungler tends to buy more wards and snowball lanes early instead of waiting for 6 for a nocturne ulti combo, or a late game nasus w/e

personally believe that kr can we this jungle match p easy but Hai is a really good mid too actually that's what i'm waiting for

From what I've seen in LCS vs Worlds, Meteos's midgame includes a lot more pushing of sidelanes and acquiring lane farm than the KR or Chinese junglers are ever allowed. As a result he also builds more items.
I mean you more or less confirmed what I said, the Chinese junglers wind up with less items (i.e. underfarmed) because they are so concerned with snowballing lanes, which is something Cloud 9 does a lot less. I am interested to see if 3 strong laners + 2 supports is superior to 3 slightly less strong laners, a strong jungler, and a support.
I suppose the thing I'm most interested in seeing is if Cloud 9 is allowed to get away with that, basically. If you NEED the earlygame Chinese-style jungle pressure or not at the highest level. Meteos still pressures lanes, clearly, but we have seen him invest a lot less in oracles and warding for his laners.
