I tried once I knew he was joining, but the status went from general waiting, to 'going to choose teams soon' to all teams finalised, all in a single day or so, right at the point when he was joining. There was not much forewarning.

Anyhoo, I guess I vote for loop123456. No particular reason other than I do not know any of them yet and he has the best avatar of the three.

It's already impossible for you to become the team captain because two people have already voted for others, and since you can't vote for yourself, only one person would be able to vote for you, which wouldn't be enough votes to become captain. D:
