Then it seems like a decent idea to me. Obviously such a thing would be a community effort through something such as voting. Instead of 2 packs I'd probably just do 1.

Re: Best of FFR Community Pack Seasons?

I'm not going to continue the seasonal packs for the sole basis that I wasn't around to do Autumn'12, Winter'12, and now Spring'13 (already too late). There would be a complete disconnect and people would be confused as to why those packs would be missing from the set if I were to do a Summer'13 pack right now. I'd rather come up with something new for a pack series than do a FFR Community Pack 5 or something.

ffr mini packs would be nice. 1 file per person

i don't think we need massive packs all the time

Re: Best of FFR Community Pack Seasons?

I disagree with the idea, mostly because we would be seeing duplicates of files. People have the files already so it would be weird to have to download them again.

What if you made a sort of pack awards thing instead? We can still use the community voting scheme, but instead of compiling a pack of all the winners, perhaps someone can produce a couple of "prizes" (ie: graphics to put in a signature or something). We create a set of categories for each year, and the community plays through the packs and provide their input.

This way we can still see who liked what, who plays what, etc. We can have debates and stuff. Would be fun.

I've always wanted to do what Kommi said. It's a perfect idea.
