PS: Not a ranked game obviously. Also, had some of the worst human scum possible in the game. Ashe had to 1 v 2. That's how scummy these guys were. Good thing Ashe was a friend of mine and listened to me :/

Also, my brother got pissed when I didn't go wriggles. I personally don't see a point to it with my build as my goal is to build HP / Damage / Armour as I play a tanky Riven, because nothing is more terrifying than a 4k HP Riven trying to execute you.

Spirit stone on Riven...?

I heard she really needs that mana regen.
Honestly Wriggles is debatable (if you get it early, like pre-8 minutes after a good gank, it's usually worth it just for the free ward in my opinion) but you should definitely be getting Madred's over spirit stone on an autoattacking champ that doesn't even use mana.

EDIT- hmm I suppose if you were going AD on Riven, spirit stone would be good to boost your mid/late game AoE clear. It'd probably outscale madreds in clear time once you get 3-4 points in Q and max W with like a bloodthirster or something, but considering you went tanky I really don't see the reason for not going Madred's...

Better yet, follow your own advice and continue to ignore them, so you don't hurt someone's feelings and cause them to run mid going 0/15. Not speaking from experience.

First off, Wriggles gives Damage/Armor, two things you wanted. Spirit Stone gives none of those stats... what...

If I could list all the things scarier than a 4k HP Riven with 100 AD in any reasonable manner of time I would, but let's just say I'd rate it somewhere between attack speed teemo and deathcap malphite.

Now I got curious about jungle Riven so I asked the top laner on my 5s team who plays Riven a lot and he said that if you build tanky/supporty out of the jungle, you basically wind up like a Maokai in that you have tons of spammable CC and good peeling. Riven has a worse gap closer but slightly more damage thanks to her ult and sustain due to not having mana. Which made sense.

He actually said he buys Spirit Stone if he is really far ahead and completes brutalizer early, so scratch what I said earlier about your spirit stone haha.
His jungle riven build was boots1 (upgrade to tabi/merc treads only if needed) brutalizer spirit stone as core if he is ahead, then Locket into BT into randuins, warmog's, or spirit visage depending on what kind of tanky he needs to be.

Remember that Riven's shield scales with AD (actually all 5 of her abilities do lol) so you can think of BT as having defensive properties too, with the lifesteal and larger shield.
EDIT- I bet Hydra would be a decent option on her too honestly...

You guys forgot about Spirit of the Ancient Golem. I didn't build it in that game because of something, but that's what I put it to. I build a tanky bruiser Riven, with things such as spirit of the ancient golem, frozen mallet, warmogs, maw if they're particularly AP heavy, but the point is to build damage and health, but because of the way items tend to work, you're stacking a bit of resistances along the way. While building those, you manage to build armour and magic resist depending on the team comp (I just go ruinic because that thing is NEVER bad.) But the idea is that you're playing her like you would if you lane her (something I can't do because I am bad as shit at it.) If you are using a team where you have say Irelia top, Lux mid, Riven jungle, Thresh support, then something such as Ashe ADC or even Draven or Cait would work with this. But the the idea is to sacrifice a HARD engage for just a team that rarely dies.

(I'm not sure what you all consider a hard engage vs a soft engage)

It's also not something for ranked unless you're five manning, but it's a really fun way to play the match I guess.

I also just play super tanky jungles like Vi or Cho'gath.

tbh you can get away with it because you're jungling. Riven's the only jungle I can think of though that can get away with building full dps. Though last time I played with you I remember you saying you were incapable of jungling so good on you to get past that.

I never got to 1600 elo in S2. I know LKS and elo are different, but I'm proud of my improvement.

I got past it to the point where I jungle more games than any other role because lol people. I still prefer to play mid the most where I just wreck face with Lux, But lately I've fallen to relearning annie. She's hella fun

dps means AD to me because APs have cooldowns. Ironically you almost got me there because Karthus technically has an auto attack spell.
