people have got to stop laneing as Lux against me, it just doesn't work.

(For the record, I have played a great deal of Lux games. I know her kit stupid well.)

Hecarim tried to camp my lane but figured out quickly I was just gonna q him and walk away.

You had no boots? Just curious as to why you didn't have boots 20 minutes into the game

A good lux can negate a lot of pokey damage Morgana will do with her QW combo.

You also say you know Lux's kit stupid well yet you still think her shield is useless????

What runes were you running with Morgana?

CS was ok though compared to everyone else.

Played two games as Morgana vs Lux today.

My god this is such a boring lane. Lux wants to 1shot someone with her combo into laser and Morgana has the OP shield of not getting stunned ever. But Lux's shield stops Morgana from being able to chunk her really bad with QW combo and if you go in for the ult you will be slowed or stunned depending on when you used your shield, either way you can't get the ult off.

At least Morg wins in farming ability heh
Both games I had like 20% more CS when laning phase ended so I guess I won the lane...

I apparently forgot boots lol.

I do know her kit and when it comes to the lane phase her shield is lack luster for me. I find it best to not put a point there until we start grouping. My focus is the early game farm. That early point in E that I don't drop in w makes a hell of a difference.

Also I have yet to get a complete rune page for her (or any mage for that matter.) But I am running Armour and magic resist runes. The rest are runes I carried over from my top lane page which is what I use more often than not.

If that Lux isn't retarded and hits you with a Q,W,R combo... You're gone.
The shield saves you from getting snared, slowed, or whatever AND blocks spell damage, which is AMAZING for winning most trades in mid lane due to the sustain it gives.
The shield is what makes Morg well... Morg.

I just had the worst/best game ever and I need to share.
We had a jungler they didn't, as is common in low lvl games. Darius offer to 1v2 at top for our team while Cho'gath jungle. I know Cho is going to get invaded because the enemy is mia the entire lvl 1 time... I tell our team to group near Cho's blue for the invade but our Fiddle in the middle and Darius don't show up. Sure enough after a little bit the enemy Thresh flash pulls me and I get instagibbed. THEN our Fiddle and Darius come down to blue. This sets off a 1 minute long lvl 1 fight where our team goes 0-8 by 2:30.

The two people on their team bot were Thresh and Kha'zix. Both were clearly Brazilian (had BR in their names, didn't speak any English, said "huehue" in all chat after the lvl 1 fight) and they proceeded to farm me (Sona) and my ADC (Miss Fortune) for like 10 kills. Their Thresh went AD and he could literally 2shot me with his pull combo. I think I was lvl 4 while they were both lvl 9. Somehow though MF manages to out-CS them despite dying 4 times and basically never having me as support because I was always dead too. Meanwhile Cho'gath is fucked in jungle because his blue was stolen and their top warded their blue so he couldn't take it.
While all this is going on Darius is getting stomped 1v2 in lane, as you'd expect, and our Fiddle feeds their Sion mid so he is down like 0-2 as well.

Then the first teamfight came, we grouped and aced them 5-0 after being down like 1-15 in kills.

Got towers off that, grouped, aced them again, got inhibs and won the game. It made no sense to me at all. I wish I had saved a replay...
Like I don't even know.

The lux can be really good and I can still dodge them if I am playing well. Her entire kit depends well on how well the foe is at dodging and your skill at predicting movements to land such shots. It's reliant on both players which is what makes it super fun to play her. Aside from the laser.

The shield on Morg I get without question at 4. Lux's I get when I need it. I don't always wait till late to get it. I just don't if I feel ahead or if we group even once early. It's a very preference based thing.

I didn't SS the game or anything due to a loss, but I did laser snipe a Hecarim earlier. He was not happy. Lulz :3

you don't put a early point into e
level 1 you prolly go orb spell
level 2 you're forced to get something other than the same spell you leveled up at level 1 aka bind
level 3 put another point into the orb
level 4 it makes you put another point into something else like bind or shield
youre not wasting anything and if you're using her bind for farming well then you fucked up

Based off rune sets alone you'd have an advantage since Mid is your main role last I checked. Let me get a correct page and then maybe.

you don't put a early point into e
level 1 you prolly go orb spell
level 2 you're forced to get something other than the same spell you leveled up at level 1 aka bind
level 3 put another point into the orb
level 4 it makes you put another point into something else like bind or shield
youre not wasting anything and if you're using her bind for farming well then you fucked up

E Q E Q E R ect is what I do. You use the bind to stop ganks or combo with E to poke the fuck outta them. But you also wanna try to throw E so it hits minions as well so you can farm while you do it. It's nice.

I'm also fine with taking Q at level 1 but only if I am doing an invade with friends in a skype call. I won't do it otherwise.

These are just things that work for me now. No idea how it's gonna work after I get my rune pages set up and attempt a ranked game.

In lower level play, when people get way up in kills for whatever reason I notice that they tend to split push a lot more or just in general get really careless and just get rolled in team fights and the later in the game you are, the more costly your mistakes are due to longer spawn timers. But yeah, it happens a lot.
