Alright cool, be sure that they haven't been uploaded to the SMO downloads section before uploading!

All DivineElegy community packs and a few more Eze gave me have been uploaded and indexed. I'm currently attacking simfiles.gr-p.com, but it is slow, and only one file can be downloaded at a time. I'm making phenomenal progress though, 742 packs are currently hosted, and I'm downloading more stuff as I post this!

EDIT: If anyone can give me the 7mai packs without them being glitched up as hell, that would be wonderful! The 7mai packs from simfiles.gr-p.com don't register properly because the names of everything are glitched. I have no idea what anything would be named, so it would be silly to rename everything so the songs register on my end.

EDIT 2: So you know what I mean by glitched, I mean all the SM's, dwi's, mp3's, etc have names that are complete gibberish. I'm not sure if this has to do with getting files from different parts of the world or something, but everything is names random garb like ã‚*リトリセン or ƒLƒŠƒgƒŠƒZƒ“.mp3. Nothing matches up, so pretty much no songs load on SM. I'm not renaming things if I have no idea what they were called in the first place.

In my pack database I did put in some effort to try to get the correct names, so you can name your packs what I have them as if you're not sure. Note that sometimes I put the common abbreviation after the pack name in parentheses (e.g. "Video Game Mega Pack (VGMP)"). Also, it seems like the SMO site drops everything after the first period in the filename, so you should be careful about that, since it might cut off names like "Stepmania.nu Competition Pack".

In my pack database I did put in some effort to try to get the correct names, so you can name your packs what I have them as if you're not sure. I'll try to do some manual renaming then. Although I would much prefer to wait a day or two and see if anyone has already done so (or if a non glitched version exists somewhere).

I am aware of this, which is why I have removed all periods from all uploaded packs. There are some sorting errors with casing and other things regarding numbers, packs names have been slightly altered to accommodate this for better sorting and indexing. If you see something that appears cut off though, by all means post it here. Even with all of my checks, it may be very possible I overlooked something.

EDIT: I'm downloading the solo packs and will be uploading them to SMO fairly shortly. Pretty much everything from Icy's thread is done except for this broken link.

I can't do anything with pages in a language I can't read, although it looks like individual songs from the pack available for download.

I already spent my time renaming and fixing EVERYTHING from the packs, but it turns out that the files themselves are also corrupt (hooray). SM 3.9, SM 5, and DDReam studio all act as if the majority of the files are blank, meaning that I can't play them anyway. Not sure how this is possible considering I see valid SM information in all of them, but I tried numerous methods, applications, and SM versions which all failed in reading them.

In essence, I'm NOT going to upload 7mai packs until someone can figure out how all of these files are corrupted and register as blank in SM song editors. If someone can somehow fix that (and have it be universal for all downloaders), then I will upload it. Treating this pack as if it doesn't exist otherwise (although I might upload 7mai1 because only 3 or so files are corrupt on that one).

7mai isn't on the SMO downloads page, at the very least. Although it is on http://houkouonchi.net:8080/packs/ but that is glitched (as are probably every other hosted 7mai is). It's where I got it in the first place.

I officially give up on trying to fix the 7mai packs, I have absolutely no idea how SM editors list them as empty files when they have what appear to be valid tracks. Changing virtually everything I possibly could didn't solve the problem, and I am stumped.

They all work fine for me. I remember awhile ago houkou uploaded them onto smo in the folder downloads/packs/japanese. I guess they aren't there anymore.

A little bump for a year end progress update!

EDIT: Beginning a mass upload of files now! There are 136 packs in the queue at the moment, and they should all be hopefully uploaded by Wednesday at the latest. After that I'll start organizing and classifying them as pad, solo, couples, or "keyboard" (4-key). At this rate, we could be approaching 1,000 packs uploaded and indexed very shortly!

Bear in mind that some things on the SMO downloads section may be listed as keyboard even though they are pad packs. I am well aware of this, and will update this soon, but I feel downloading and uploading the packs are more important at the moment.
