If someone drops out of the tourney I don't think it'd be fair this late in the tournament unless it's for a personal or other [extreme] measure. In this case with Nix, wouldn't it be more fair just to put their name in the elimination line and move up the person who was next eliminated?

Done. Sorry that things didn't work out for you.
Readjusted the round to go from 14 -> 8 instead of 13 -> 8, so the person that was just below the line is now right above it. Stiff competition will continue with a drop of 6 people.

Kinda missed all the stuff yesterday but for the record while the site was only down for a day to everyone there were some people that were unable to access the site for longer than that. Or if they were able to access the site they couldn't play the game. bmah was actually someone who was a victim of this. Actually when the site came back for me AJ wasn't able to load it on his computer until hours later himself as well. So yes there were some people that were not able to access the site properly for more than a day.

No one is really being brought in "freely", though. smartdude had issues that he had absolutely 0 control over.
Asher dropped out of the tournament when 14 people went on, so I filled in slot 14 with the person who was in... 14th. Both of these are sensible decisions.

Alrighty then, didn't mean to sound like I disagree with the choices by the way.
Also, it appears it's going to be hard pain for the rest of the tournament. If last round was any indication, most of the divisions were pretty much fighting for a near Black Flag or so.
