Okay, serious statement here as a disclaimer first,
I PERSONALLY don't think remixing should be against the rules.

that said, didn't you guys say we couldn't alter the song aside from simple tempo change of the whole track?

Well if you would like to purchase a program like FL studio for everyone, and somehow give them the experience to remix a song in an extremely short amount of time, then I would be happy to allow remixes. This is supposed to be a fun thing anyone can do, not something where some music author struts in and blows away the competition because he has the experience and the money to remix the hell out of the song. Just a fun little thing anyone can take a little time to do, no need to make it exclusive, serious, and extremely in depth.

Anyway, just try to revise the song whenever you can man. If you find that you don't have time though, I'll still give you the 20k participation prize despite the issue (although it can't place).

I mean, I didn't use anything besides audacity, so it's not like I remixed the original sound file at all, just added tempo changes. I'll get to fixing it soon, though.
