Okay so I was over at my friend's house avoiding homework all night and his keyboard is pretty much the most spectacular thing... I cranked out these awesome scores! Too bad for the misses, and his keys are sensitive so I get a number of boos, but I was still getting accustomed to it:

First try (and should've been the AAA urgh):

Also got 4-0-0-4 on Here We Go (second try, everything before about 700 combo), AAA'd a fair number of songs in the 65-75 range within one or two tries, and improved my ranks on a few songs as well.

And with that, I officially blame my current keyboard for everything ever.

Actually it's just fine:


Turns out you have to check your settings and make sure your judge offset is the same as the person who played the song. His judge offset was 0, turns out both you and I use a judge offset of 1.

I'm going to post about it though and hopefully it's an easy fix for Velo.
