Until 06. Everybody's shit from like 2002-2006 p. much esp if you were a PoPuLaR dude. Kind of a huge waste of time looking back especially now that I don't even have 99.9% of it anymore. Kept Skor's stuff and a handful of other peeps from back when I started playing. Back when it was about the fun instead of accurately stepping the 64ths and/or the sounds you needed $500 headphones to hear. People still do that nowadays?

Oh yeah. You should see half the shit people have been putting out. -_-
For example, just watch this. http://www.flashflashrevolution.com/...php?level=1214 just click toggle display, and click view with replay settings. If you even care that much.

Do you by chance have any of jello's sims? He's been looking for all of his shit, but no one has any of it besides the stuff released in packs.

I've only been paying attention for the past six months or so, but from what I can tell, today's "top-tier" steppers balance their approaches between attention to detail and overall enjoyability.

everyone plays spread tho, which you're not too into? iirc

Wow that looks so shit. No idea what was released in packs but:
          340 BPM Gabber
          A
          dokudenpa jello
          Neo Max
          Playdoh
          S O S
          Senorita
          Stalled Out and Sushi bars

I don't have Stoic (collab with Reach) or Omega (collab w/ aperson) since I guess I deleted the folders that had them. Shuey's file system was weird. Any other sims he made I don't even know about.

sup danceguy! Still a lot of old timers around haha. Yeah I was always indecks 4 lyfe.

hi dballin! I've been around here since ~2007, but I've been playing the game since 2005. definitely heard a lot about you from some of the other vets here.

I would like to point out that post-SMG2/Dark Chancellors Pack or so, there was kinda a reverse trend towards community over elitism...that fixed a lot of the issues with overtechnicality since we put emphasis back on fun factor again and more diverse stepping styles began to develop. even tho you're index, just wanted to point that out.

Maybe I'll try making a few solo charts too, since some people seem to enjoy that mode. Maybe.

                    Re: Skorpion9x simfiles

lol who the hell was grabbing random simfiles from 2003 and throwing them in packs? If it matters these are most likely the "original" releases. Most don't have graphics and Senorita has heavy and challenge steps so you know it's not the KBMP version.

There's somewhat of a rift between when Shuey stopped downloading everything and when I started so 2004 had a fairly sizeable gap. People like Tear filled it in somewhat for guys like Toph, but I'm sure stuff got lost in the mix. I'm kinda mad the external I had the backups on died cuz I'm missing a ton of stuff from the Great Stepmania Purge of 200x when I decided I wanted to reclaim that 100 GB. Anybody popular that alphabetically came before GLoVE is gone. Arch0wl, aperson, dukamok, Blurk, even my buddy danceguy up there had some good stuff. They gone.

Still got all dat Skor so if peeps wanna relive the Golden age of SM, you could do a lot worse than this guy's stuff.

Original versions of Seven Eleven, Arrabbiata, Beloved, and Clarissa are lost to time on my end.

Omg, all of the songs I'm working on are >4 minutes, so they are taking forever and I'm like "ugh..." every time I start working on them. I managed to shorten a few to about 2:30, but the others I have no idea how to shorten them... Too much good stuff to cut out.

Wow... that's like every file I ever released. So many bad ones in there that I wish I could erase from history lol...

Edit: I can upload Seven Eleven, Arrabbiata, and Beloved for you. I think I'm going to add another difficulty to Clarissa before I upload that. It's something I've always wanted to do, and now's a good time. Interestingly, the first three of those were collaborations with other people.

By the way, is that P8107 the new one? I did rerelease it with new challenge steps. I'm not sure if you caught that.

                        Edit2: Uploaded, check OP.

I didn't collab with anyone for that file. Where did you get that idea? :P

downloading Beloved because I've never played it, woot. I suppose I'll see if I have room for another Arrabbiata file. 8|

edit: oh whoops I've definitely played Beloved, I recognize that banner. so much nostalgia all up in this thread.
edit2: just read the description for Arrabbiata. had no idea the KBMP version had charts removed. I feel like a dolt.

Arch0wl removed all pad steps and moved the keyboard charts to Heavy difficulty for all KBMP files. The Arrabbiata steps in KBMP were done by Radical J.
