First off I'd like to thank whoever placed me back into the tournament, thank you so much!
But I'm faced with a problem here - I was removed and I assumed I was gone for good. I also got no replies about me making a video and such.. so I just spent the whole week on SM instead of FFR (sulking over FFR is sad~).
And then I came back to play my Division 3 song since I was planning to follow the tournament, and found out I was placed back into Division 4!
I already sent nois-or-e a message about this, but I got no notifications or indications that I was still in the running in Division 4 instead of Division 3.
Could I please have a second shot at Division 4? I got 1-0-1-1 on Flamingo but I didn't bother to try again since I wasn't removed from the tournament at that point..
Give me a second chance! Thanks~

No~ There are currently 16 players in Division 4. But what happened was, last round I was removed from the tournament while I was in Division 3. I asked to be put back into the tournament but received no replies (still haven't gotten a reply.)
I checked back today to play the Division 3 song but turns out I was actually put back into the tournament as a Division 4 player last round, but I was never notified of this so I never got to play Flamingo or get a proper run in.
It might be a mistake that I was put back into Division 4 since I got no replies or notices about me being put back into the tournament.
I'm just thankful that I was somehow put back into the tournament as a Division 4 player. All I'm asking now is to be reinstated as the 17th player in Division 4 since I want a fair shot at Division 4 as well!
I still haven't forgotten about the video I offered to make. I'll be making that as soon as this whole thing gets cleared out~ I've been playing SM quite heavily this past week as well so I managed to squeeze out a Nous AAA today (I was shaking SO hard.. wow, you will not believe..)
So please~ let me have a running shot at Division 4!

I kinda must confess that what happened to soulwar is unfair.
I don't know the whole gist, but what's done is done...
I suggest continuing to obtain feedback towards your situation, but placing you back into the tourney would most likely complicate and maybe even arouse other players.
Which imo it shouldn't, cause competition is nice~

I am sorry for your situation and I hope it is resolved soon.

Noo.. I was put into Division 1 when I signed up, but I knew I was better than that so I requested to be put into higher divisions. Got put into Division 3 which I thought was alright, but it seems I can handle Division 4 songs without too much hardship (although Nous is by far, the hardest tournament I've played so far!) If I really wanted to sandbag I would've stayed in Division 1~ *evil grin*

Honestly at this moment I think Division 4 is perfect for me but..

I'm out of the tournament at this moment because I did not know that I was put back in on Friday. I thought new rounds start on Saturday nights? How was I supposed to react in time without any notifications

But in the case I do get put back into Division 4, make sure 9 people move on! More competition is always awesome.

Wow, cool guy. At least you're advocating for something that I think is fair for everyone. Again, it sucks that that happened, because it isn't fair to you. But again, with a Nous AAA you're autosafe this round, and that bumps unsespecting players down one and causes 9 people to be eliminated, which is why I'm saying 9 players should move on this round if you get put back in (which i also think is fair since soulwar says he didn't get a chance to respond to what happened)

Kinda like promising everyone a 1 in 2 shot at the next round of a 16 man track race and then plopping usain bolt in there and saying the original players now have only have essentially 7 slots to next round X3 (god im bad at not editing shit)

Actually, whether j-rodd realized it or not, there's real merit to that statement. A lot of people don't actually look near those receptors and simply assume when the arrows are going to match to the receptors, based on their anticipation of the music. I'll tell you now, be more conscious of when those arrows meet the receptors. A lot of apparent "random goods" occur with the wrong assumption that you're hitting the arrows on time. Don't look far past the receptors and then you'll know for sure when you need to hit those arrows.

i tend to look at the middle of the screen. any other top-tier players look solely at the receptors?

I'm not exactly a "top tier" player - but I look slightly below the receptors in the center and sometimes move more towards the middle o the screen during intense jumpstreaming.
