That's rude, Zak. It's a personal accomplishment; he even said it himself that he couldn't believe he hung to FC a FGO file.

I'm watching the replay, it's not outright mashing at all the entire time. In fact, he's actually capable of hitting the 24th streams/48th flams in Mephisto pretty cleanly in some areas. So yes, he at least possesses the capability of doing SOME of the harder parts. The boos are scattered all around the chart, and it just seems like intelligently tapping extra notes to keep combo because of not being able to read some parts.

There is some heavy mashing during the 24th streams with a jump every 12th note around 870 combo, so yeah, there's obviously some things to be learned.

In any event Ntc, congrats on hanging on to the FC. The next step to do now that you have the FC is to learn how to execute tougher parts of the file without hitting a high amount of boos.

Mephitso Waltz is balls hard.
I couldn't even fc it when it came out and I was fairly good at the game by then.
Not sure how you got that as your first guru fc(i assume it is your first) but really good job.

The reason I'm so against mashing, is because while it does improve your rank, it also becomes nearly impossible to improve if you had to mash.

My first FGO was Reality about 2 or so years ago and it was mashed to hell. For the longest time I hated the fact it was mashed because I was able to get better PA but was forced to look at hundreds of boos (My score is still bad, but at least it isn't mashed anymore x.x)

The only Public songs I can support mashing, are RATO, DP, and Revo because honestly, the only people who can be expected to do those well are top tier D6 players.

I have gotten a LOT better recently... i used to suck ass at jumpstreams, but now jacks and one handed trills are my enemy.

Mephisto Waltz rank 192. I don't care if 1/4 of it was mash. It feels good.
