It worked for me, and I'm sure it could work for someone else, that's why I posted it in the first place. I too was having lag issues, realized my problem was using flash11, switched to flash9, used the legacy engine and BOOM it worked... so please tell me again how that is not "viable" now that you really know the definition... Oh, what's that, you mean it IS viable? Well I already knew that. Thanks brah

Please realize that you're asking people to play under a different set of parameters than from what they usually play, which isn't fair since everyone feels comfortable with their own settings. For example, let's say you play askl spread on the legacy engine with upscroll and delta noteskin at 1.7x speedmod but then all of a sudden the only lag-free combination of settings is velocity engine, arrow keys, beatmania noteskin, downscroll, and 2.2x speed. Would you call that combination of settings a viable solution for everyone?

It's from a lot of D5 not trying. It's not like the song is balls-hard.

Where is everybody in division 1? is it like this every year?

D1 is where all the people who play FFR for a day, sign up for the tourney, and then get bored inevitably end up. People in higher divisions are people who stuck around, so there's less truancy.

This is what I did last year during Round 5 (I think) for SAMBISTA:

1. Play song, do bad, still below cutoff.
2. Play song more, still below cutoff.
3. Play on cam in tinychat, still bad, rage is had.
4. Whore on cam for nearly 200 restarts in one sitting, several plays being rage inducing.
5. Get that one ******luck run that moves you to the next round and you shit your pants out of happiness.

Sambista was R4, the rofl get R5 was colorful course. I ought to know. >.<

Also, yeah, R1 tends to be more of an activity check than anything.

I guarantee i'm out of this round. Wasn't fun going from not playing for 6 months back into a hard ass song.

But I like the song and file, and was kinda cool to get back into things.

If I don't make it, Best of luck to everyone in D6 and everyone else in the tourney.

If I somehow make it, due to a miracle. Hopefully I do better next round. But i'm not counting on the miracle to happen
