    I'm thinking about getting Orianna, but I'm not sure if she's one of the best mid champs. Anyone got any opinions about her or maybe other ap champs that I might not have and should get?

        Don't get orianna, she's hard to play and seems to be weak in laning phase. Also underpowered from what I can tell.

            She's also extremely fun. Also her laning is pretty strong, and even if she isn't making the enemy team explode her ult can set up all 5 of them pretty easily. Run her with galio, put the ball on him and ult right as his ends, lulz ensue. She does have an actual skillcap though, so be warned.

            Also, chances are you'd be better running her as a tanky mage with like lichbane or something, spammable q + her passive hits pretty hard.

            EDIT: also if you want other ap champ suggestions we'd have to know who you have available.

                Don't get lich bane on orianna. Yeah with her passive and low cds it sounds good on paper, but realistically you're not gonna have the opportunity to make use of the procs that often (you're not gonna have time to constantly auto-attack in teamfights as orianna)

                    Well my current mains are Anivia and LeBlanc, but I can play any ap champ quite well in mid. I lack a lot of champions and have ones for every role in case mid or whatever is taken. I do prefer champions with skill shots though since I'm fairly decent at hitting them.

                                Gonna add Viktor to that list. He's really underrated (less chance of a ban/being taken) and takes a decent amount of skill.

                                                I love Orianna. Idc who thinks she's weak (lump), I'd probably play her ranked soon. My buddy who duo'd with me plays ori as his 2nd main. She's just way underestimated.

                                                    I could see how she'd be harder to pull off effectively in high level play, but people seem to consistently forget that there's a time and a place for every champion in this game. Even Eve and Win Nhao are effective, just not in SR. So that means go ahead and pick up whatever champion you want and play it. If you enjoy it and are good at it, some FotM player isn't going to be able to tell you your champion sucks when you're taking a massive shit on the enemy team.
