Ok good. I generally end up playing support because nobody else will, and I enjoy playing support anyway.

This was a pretty intense game. I dc'd for the first time ever which totally glitched me out. There were random minions everywhere. I couldn't target towers. It was very strange. Swain was losing his mind because Garen and Mundo must have like... bought lvl30 accounts because they had no idea what they were doing. They were the last two picks in the draft and we needed a top and a jungler. Both picked a top. Urgot pushed so hard too. I don't know how we were ganked like mad all game.

Apparently even though I'm unranked, I have a rating?

unranked is like below 1200 or if you just started ranked and haven't played too many games yet (it's like 5 or 10 before your rating shows up)

I can't wait to try ranked but getting to 30 takes ages...

I think I'd be at a pretty high elo once I make a better effort for creep kills (I can last hit in lane but then kind of stop after that's over)

I'm gonna stay away from ranked until I break even with wlr in normals. I need to fix all the bad games I had from when I really sucked.

There's something about ranked that I find extremely annoying now.

In the past, you could just stomp the bads at lower elo no matter what you did because it would be so easy to get kills in the lane and you can snowball from there.

Nowadays, starting as low as 1400 elo, players all seem to know the basics of the game and have decent mechanics, such as last hitting and a general idea of the standard meta. I can't get kills in lane or just do what I want anymore. If I play seriously I can still win virtually all of my games, because of better awareness and team fight mechanics, but I still have to be on my toes.

The games I now play at 1400 elo feel like the games I used to play at 1700-1800+ elo. It's almost a little bit scary.

I think it's because of the extensive amount of guides out for nearly every champion, plus guides about the game itself (like warding, last hitting, counter picking)

With all of this information available it's up to the player to use it or not. Most players imo are starting to use what's available and get better

If you want all of that to go away you can restart your client, should set everything back to normal. Of course then you have to wait another however long, so there's a tradeoff. Most of the time the not targeting towers thing isn't a big deal because you can simply stand next to it and you'll start attacking it, assuming it's clear of creeps and such, but the phantom creep waves are insanely annoying. I could see it being ignorable as a support, but it can be pretty impossible to deal with when you need to cs, especially if they're the kind that let you click on them.

I only played one ranked game, I'm just not a fan of ban pick...

I've been playing lots of bot games with my beginner friend, trying to teach him how to play and stuff.

@ phantom creeps, I've had games where there were like 3 cannon minions shooting at our team's olaf, and they would always shoot at him regardless of where he was on the map. the bullets would follow him and shit. It was hilarious. I would always know where he is, cause it would go to him from across the map and everything. If he died, I could find his corpse in a matter of seconds just from the bullets rofl
I disconnected like 3-4 times that game, and every time, the amount of minions accumulated. It sucked. I don't remember who I was playing though, but it was damn annoying, there were phantoms everywhere.

I definitely agree with you, I think people are starting to take the game a little more seriously and want to be at the best level they can be fundamentally/mechanically, which is why I attempt to play alot of unconventional champs/roles/etc and strong picks because a majority of solo q players only know the meta and have a hard time adapting to something new or difficult to counter. I've noticed that a lot of people are scared of blitz botlane (i enjoy going blitz with an alistar jungle on team) which is why i have been picking him up recently and have also been trying out ap maokai and ap ezreal. Another really strong pick is Twisted Fate, mainly because his map presence/control is extremely high and if you make one small mistake top or bot he can easily take advantage of it with his ulti and win the game simply by getting free kills bot/top lane. Just some things i've been noticing in solo q

yea they are my friends lol the lux is fairley new to the game and the leona for some reason refuses to go tank leona and always goes ap leona
