I feel horrible. I'm not sure I should be doing this well on this song, so I went ahead and played Toph's OP...




...and I'm almost certain I'd get murdered in the division above me. I don't know what to do.

i dont have a lot of time but im gonna try and improve since i really wants credits >, just a question tho whats the best way to hit trills i play using my index middle and ring finger on the arrow keys and the stupid trills are just so awkward

I play with the same style you do and yeah those trills are annoying, especially the up/down ones. I shift my hand slightly and use my index and middle to trill up and down because I can usually get better PA that way as opposed to sliding my middle finger up and down. The non-up/down trills aren't so bad, I just hit those normally.

Haven't really been able to get a score I'm satisfied with though, I always get a ton of goods at the end. Perhaps it's time to give Halogen's two-fingered method a try? :P

Thanks and yea i meant the up and down ones, ive been sliding my middle finger but its been really inconsistent pa wise, im gonna try hybriding that then and see how it goes lol

Updated the main post. I made one adjustment to the Beginners elimination tree - I made it so that the last round has three competitors rather than two, since I REALLY don't want to see a third tiebreaker in a row.

Damn. Two-fingered insanity. Don't feel bad that you are doing so good, even if you are murdering your competition. Of course, you won't get much argument in that you are perhaps too good for Intermediate, haha. Maybe the next time I run a one-handed tournament you can try your luck in Experts.

Toph's OP was three fingered, haha. I only stream with two fingers when necessary. The first part of Toph's OP can be done with two fingers, but then the jumps come in and it's like UUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

If there's a tiebreaker I may have a problem! Tomorrow night will be the last night I'm likely to be able to play until Monday unless I'm VERY lucky on thursday. Anime convention Friday-Monday, and I'm heading to the hotel Thursday night.... >_>
