Honestly, if you want an easy champion to play that rolls face and snowballs, pick Ryze.

His damage output is absurd while being incredibly tanky and hard to kill. Trynd also depends on getting into an enemy's face at melee range, while Ryze can do it from a distance. Trynd is also kinda done after he burns his ult, but Ryze can keep going for basically forever.

There's good reason for this. Trynd without much gold or levels is not much of a threat. Trynd that's farmed/fed (actually same goes with any champion) is stupid hard to deal with. Before, Trynd never got farmed reliably, so he was easy to deal with. Now, Trynd's early game is incredibly strong, which means he can consistently get farmed up each game.

There aren't many that can deny him effectively, either. And he's hard to gank. And that cleanse buff. And dodge removal.

This is a good point. I first realized how strong Ryze was after I ended up going Solo top against him as Singed once. Of course, Ryze counters Singed, but I decided to try him.

If you put him on smart cast I found him pretty simple to play. It feels like he takes less skill to play than Tryndamere or even Sion because you don't have to worry about positioning and timing as much. It's a lot of button mashing. You never have to watch your Mana like other casters and you're really tanky and can get away with tons of dumb shit.

Maybe I'm crazy, but as I understand it, it seems like the primary reason that Twitch isn't played competitively is because he doesn't fit well in the current Meta. However, I've toyed with him some and his damage output feels really retarded once he gets items. Like, full items people complain about Vayne/Tryndamere, but Twitch does so much damage it's out of control.

Can he Jungle? What about Mid? I feel like he could be a counter pick to some mid champs.

If he ever gets buffed I feel like he will be insane.

I have a new found love for Akali, she's so much fun to play with, you can get ks' easily, and you can also destroy someones health in no time with a sheen/lich bane. Gonna give fiddle another chance this week since he's free.

jungle twitch was semi viable in solo q before they changed jungle, not sure about now though

twitch could probably hard counter a bunch of ap champs played by less experienced players but I'm not sure about decent ones

I can see something like a twitch runed/masteried for real early game kills doing well against ap champs (apen/mpen combo runes +ad reds crit runes if you're feeling adventurous etc) ad/atk speed havoc and executioner masteries and all that jazz idk take surge if you really want to as well rofl

lvl 2 ambush + expunge engage ap champ behind him/his creep line

he'll burst you with w.e but theres like 2 casters (cass and karth? maybe more) that can kill a full hp twitch at level 2 so you almost automatically have the advantage there

best case scenario you land 6 autos (~400 damage) and expunge pretty much instant kills with executioner then you use your gold to lane rape because a tw with farm advantage on an ap is really not fun to play against

worst case scenario is they win the trade but use a summoner and since 95% of mids aren't early game sustains you might be able to force a kill at level 3/4

of course this assumes that you're
a) pretty damn good with twitch and
b) your opponent is an idiot and doesn't know how to play against twitch

(Really, we should have won this easily, but they were letting me get 1v3'd top and were unable to capture bottom 4v2. Everyone on the other team was smurfing other than Caitlyn, but our Fiddle, Trist and Kat (LMAO BUILD) definitely weren't.)

Yep. Before he got nerfed like 7 times in a row into oblivion, he was the craziest champion in the entire league because he could 1v1 any AD carry with equal farm and win, and if that wasn't stupid enough, if he gets most of his ult duration off he literally kills the entire enemy team, if not getting everyone dangerously low.

Add lifesteal to the equation and I've seen games where Twitch would get multiple quadras/pentas in a game. Not even kidding.

I played a game recently where Twitch dumped on my entire team just b/c of his positioning behind us. Scored a penta and we surrendered

But I thought most people used smartcast. I started using it when I felt like Ezreal was way too difficult to use one free week. I asked a friend about it, and he told me about smartcast. Generally it's all I use now for every champion, lol

If you're good and the enemy mid AP is bad, you can shit on them and dominate the lane.

Oh btw, you can do this with Twitch.

You can also do it with just about any other viable mid. The trick is figuring out strategies for when you're evenly matched, every good player can noob stomp :P
