Mm yes could be, but playing on an engine where your scores aren't seen is hiding skill if you aren't really playing over here where it can be seen. Plus it's a little weird that he got 2 goods last round then insta got 2 goods on a song like spanish. I can't even do that and I'm supposed to be D4, I must have misplaced myself, silly me.

I got 9g sightread on it, but he's not D4 material, been mping with him basically every night for past 2 weeks. He's amazing at jacks.. and seems to be D3/low D4 in every other aspect. >like most that are in D3<

I lasted one round longer being in D4 vs D5

if I could aaa, then I would've been a serious threat in D4, and proably would've been out last round in D5 still, unless I did some fluke run

Was talking about Zak, you quoted me when I was making a comment to his constant "I'm not D4" and you said the last two rounds were harder and he was in those two rounds. So regardless I don't see how that's relevant. It's not like he just came into D4 this round. And I didn't mean I actually thought you were a D5 player, that just went along with your "harder songs are better" comment. You want hard straight through you'd need to be higher than D4. It would be different in a tourney with less rounds because progression would be faster.

and ya, I'm definately not suited for ffr-offical style tournaments, otherwise I would've started off in D5 and not D4 (would've requested it if it wasn't aaa round 1/2/3/4/5 then songs get harder) which is just a stupid imo since I suck at it

Well now I'm finally okay with D4 now that I've used my determination to skillboost just enough to survive, but at first all I did was look at the list of likely winners and my first thought was gg lol.

What exactly does jacks have to do with spanish? I'd like to see where I said I was moving him up or anything of the sort. I made a crack at his comment but then again looking further into it, it's a little fishy. Took him 6 runs only to get 2 clean on spanish, spanish is not by any means easy. That trill alone is massive good bait.

You really need to cut it out with your snide attitude. And that wasn't a point from two weeks ago that -no one cares about-, since you know, .wc. mentioned it too and he's in D4. Obviously, it was a glaring error that he didn't admit to (initially - at least now he's accepting of it).

Also, as far as the offline engine and harboring skill argument - yes, of course you can play on an offline and improve, but if you were intentionally playing on an offline from when the tournament was announced to now in an effort to hide your true skill, then you're sandbagging. I'm not saying that this is the case, but if I were a D2 player who suddenly got a skill boost and decided to ride it out by looking like I'm doing poorly up until a certain point, that would be horribly unfair to everyone else.

The people who are still in the tournament need to stop thinking about themselves and play in the tournament for the sake of friendly competition, not just to win everything.

I was pointing out that he thought he had no chance in D4 yet he came out of the gates in round 5 with a very good score and thinks he can AAA. He also survived the last two rounds that people had to grind at pretty hard. I think you just need to stop posting here for the night because you're turning things into something they're not.
