also.. Whoever has that 4hr padable file.. I want it.
PM me so I remember. Need to dig it off of my external drive when life isn't so busy! Warning, it's 140bpm stream in the vein of Calimists challenge. Also split a 10 minute and 30 minute file from it which are on my local machine, so we'd have scores for you to aim for!

If it were a 400 BPM file, this wouldn't really matter. The fact is that he has the speed to hit it, regardless of knowing where to transition his fingers (any user could do this if he/she really wanted to through use of the replay system), shows improvement far beyond the scope of D4.
Also, @rhythm: Tournies like this actually INSPIRE improvement, but if the improvement goes too far above the other players, especially not even halfway through the tournament, then it just isn't fair to everyone else to keep that player there.

Asdf. 2 clean on Finder, and I need it manually recorded because there's no way in hell I'm going to hit the ending like I did in the next 8 hours. Hopefully it'll record on the dash when the admins get around to it, as this is muy importante?
Edit: Also this, which is what I've been trying to say in the Brag Board for a while.
That then in turn brings up how much is too much and when is it going to end up bringing people to the whole "sandbagging" debate. Because it's bound to come up at some point now considering some of the 12 scores that are coming up now and that he was orig gonna be D3. Someone could say "oh well he didn't practice till the tourney started so that he wouldn't get better so he could stay in a lower division" etc etc. There's always something someone brings up. Frankly I don't see being moved up as a punishment I'd be friggin happy if I were gaining those types of scores and got to compete with better players. But that's just me I guess.
As per manually added scores they don't show on the dash. I have no way of adding scores to the dash myself. You'd have to try to ask velocity and see if he could do it for you.
But anyway I really don't have the time to go back and forth with it. If you all wanna discuss feel free just keep it civil. I'm working on getting the songs converted and such. See you guys soon
My dick is good, thank you very much. It gets love and attention no matter what <3 <3 <3

Re: 6th Official FFR Tournament - Round 3 has started!
Kayla, I'll try it, but if I get "you got it once, you can get it again" which is meant to inspire improvement, I'm going to go punch a baby in the face. -_-

I still feel it's pretty silly to punish people who want to improve early. What am I supposed to do, not play until the last round?
If I knew the penalty for trying hard was to be moved to where I couldn't win, I wouldn't have tried hard in the first place...
(I can't even AAA this round's D5 song so I would be instantly eliminated, GG)
Not my tournament to run and technically you can do whatever you want but you know how I feel about it.
Furthermore there's a bunch of other people in D4 who are also quite good. wc, dragonmega, sweet feet, yo man im awesome, everyone in D4 who has [Oni]... between all of them there's someone with a better score than me on most songs.
Obviously Reality is an exception, clearly I'm pretty good at that file compared to others :P
$0.02
I'm moving myself up, and why not? I want to play for competition, not for a token and probably some other random stuff I don't need. Sure, winning is fun, and you usually want to put chances on your side. Sure, my being so good is from the hours I put into the game as of late. But I also did something that many people in D4 could not, and I felt it would be more fun for me to move up and push myself further than to stay near the top of my division and be like "lol ez". I may not have a chance to win really easily because of it, but if I can improve even more, I'll be competing for greater prizes.
As for you? Well, I dunno. If you got a score on a tourney song that competed with/equaled those of top D5 (and not during an AAA fest), I'd say to let yourself be moved up. But for the moment, if you feel safer/more comfortable where you are, fair 'nuff. I won't try to convince you otherwise under these circumstances where you actually can't AAA D5's current song.

What's his best score? I had 7-0-1-0 on it
>I still have a hard time AAAing 10s
it's just one skill, not all of them that makes you go to the higher division.
Also, i'd rather have the competition in D4 since It'll be ridiculously hard for me after round 4 at least.
