Idk - i was bored and was playing around in mspaint with the watercolor tool. I never did clouds before - I just kinda winged it. I'll work on it - turns out I really like doing this over the black/white portraits i do heh.

This is done in microsoft paint? wat
Did they upgrade mspaint or something?

As far as the picture goes, I'd say check out some reference pictures because this is pretty off. Pay close attention to the shapes, values (light to dark etc) and lighting in the reference pictures.

Reminds me of something I did a few years back

Maybe I should have a better attempt at it now

*ducks head in, drops sketches, and runs!*
Kidding. <//< I draw though! Not often, but often enough. Unfortunately, I draw a lot of nefarious things lately, so it's rather difficult to find images that I can actually post in public places. :<

May or may not count as a sketch. It started as one and I just kept whittling away at it! It was just vent art one night when I couldn't sleep, it only took a little while to do. Cropped and censored. *coughs*

From earlier in this year in my 9:30AM General Sociology class. Because it's a horrible, boring class, I occupied myself by drawing my classmates as furries instead. ( I wanted practice drawing more "realistic" characters )

Nice, really like these, distinct complexions with minimal strokes. Real life portraits on the go seem fun lol.

This is a test... a test I'm going to use for a school project

Yes I know my grass is very ungrass-like ;_; I was thinking of rendering some with the hair module in Cinema 4D but for the sake of the project I'll stick with a more painterly-look.

EDIT: Oops I didn't realize the cropping on the flower was that soft, ~fixing~

LEAVE THAT FLOWER ALONE PLEASE, cause that looks amazing.

Yeah grass needs some work to look more grassy. You could paint over it a bit and the water drops need some work as well. Transparency and color etc.
Might want to look in using less dark shadows, and more into colored shadows because in a background like this, the shadows would be way less dark and would be turning towards blue.
Might want to orientate the background 90 degrees, because the clouds look as though they're moving from down to up instead of left to right.

edit: decided to do a quick little paintover to show you what I mean. It's still a bit dark but whatever:

I wish I could sketch faces with this much precision in that quick a time, really amazing job. Baha, I wish I could sketch in general. I literally jump straight into details and outlining, and shade as I go along.

These are a few of my "sketches":

That's a really neat style you got there. It looks almost art nouveau-ish because of the heavy linework and the style of shading.
There's something about the first one that creeps me out though haha. But the second one is a really nice pose.

Thank you, I haven't really kept up with my drawing in a while, but I want to get back into it.

@ the first drawing, I always get that response lol. It's Jackie Chan from Forbidden Kingdom.

That's because this wasn't done in the train lmfao

I'm trying not to use too much linework in my drawings and just work from shapes. I try to remove as much linework in my sketches in the train as well but eh, it's in the train. :P
