Let me first say: I understand the chart possibly needs work. I appreciate the notes that I did receive, and appreciate the time some of you put into being thorough. I feel like I am steadily improving my quality because of it.

On the other hand.

BOTH times I have submitted Speedcore 300 I have had 1 or more judge(s) bluntly not look at it, or have let a bias affect their judgment. I feel naming names in this thread isn't fair to these judge(s), but I'm just going to voice that some of the judges bluntly need to stop this. I understand you all do this on your own time for free, which is why I feel like saying anything is rude and I really shouldn't complain, but come on guys, if you're not going to be fair do the right thing and just don't judge it, last time I checked judges could do this. Pardon me if I'm wrong.

In reference to the notes I was given:

- I'm kinda sad most of the judges thought the 16th notes were grace notes. In reality they're not. I'm stepping the buzz (douche move I'm aware) without being a over technical ****** like I was on the original chart. Unless you all like 32nd jacks @300 bpm guys, which is what it should be. It's just not reasonable ergo left I left the 32nds out and didn't jack it for the sake of being able to keep it reasonable.

- Will look @ those spots you mentioned Bmah. I think I did that on the original chart but it cluttered it up, so I was watering it down I think. Regardless will look again.

- Thanks qq for the other mentionable spots.

There are zero ghost notes in About Happiness and Earth Tower Devotion. Every single note in them is present in their bms charts
But I'll fix them to cater to n00bz

You have to understand how bad of a file you created the first time and how it will affect the way people view your stepping and your files

Also, not that I have anything to do with this, but isn't the idea of a "hard batch" to make difficult files as in mid-FMO to mid-FGO, not "trollolol let's make something that won't get through the judges anyway" files?

I just find it rather pointless to send mashmaterial here as a legit file, only to be cross to the judges when they say it's too difficult.

Putting aside making the file easier (I agree that I should've done that):

In Solros, most of my points were taken off because some of the 24ths didn't seem clear to what they are layering onto. Not all 24ths go to the tambourines in the song. In fact, the 24ths that are made easier to hit are intentionally layered to the drums (like rolling the drums).

There are also a few other comments that were mentioned in the review that I want to talk about, but I'll take that outside of here.

Sort of. More overtechnical though; the anger comes from the difficulty more than anything.

Thought about that. Then I realized, this song deserves a file sickly difficult, yet AAA'able. I took some inspiration from Yesssss and kept the heavy jacks and speed factors, then added extra jumps and notes to emphasize some of the heavier noises. There isn't a 2-framer in there, and it's more or less an endurance round of jacks, speed, and consistency. I actually figured it had a legitimate shot to make it. My trollface is mostly directed at anyone who misinterprets my intentions with that file.

Hang on, I'm cross with them now? When did I say I was cross? I'm not mad at all; I knew the implications of sending a file like this from the moment I sent it in. It's not like I had this false hope that it was a lock.

Also, this may be mash material, but it's a fairly legit file. Hard as hell and very overstepped, yes, but at least I showed some effort to make it fairly doable without being a total mashfag. :/

For this batch, if you've got 6 ratings for a song, that's all you need. If you have less than that, and the other is/are [PASS], you'll just have to wait as we sort things out...

m. 40 (159.75) - ghost note?
m. 49 (192.50) - feels like there needs to be a note here - you decide (you might have to change the patterns around there a little bit).

Playtest: Nice flowing stream/jumpstream parts, and some interesting patterns. Nothing too awkward, either.
Editor: There are a few spots where I'd like to see some extra notes: the last 4th note in m7, the end of m10 Normally I'd agree, but I've chosen not to step that percussion until later in the song (after the speed up), m23-24 I'm debating stepping the vocals here, but I'm still kind of iffy. All of the judges would seem to prefer that though so!, the 8th note just before m42 and two more after the first hand in m42Yes, thank you! I didn't notice those sounds but it fits nicely., and the very ending (after your last note).

- File was early by 0.04. Global offset issue most likely.
- M23+ (Beat 88+) I feel you should've at the very least layered in the vocals. It'd be a better transition into M24+ and it wouldn't abruptly break the flow of the file like it does here.
- A lot of opportunity to use hands that you didn't quite take advantage of. I feel that the 4 hands you have in the file are random and don't really have much impact to the song.
- Layering's good for the most part. Nothing erroneous worth noting. Patterns flow fluidly.

- Summary: A very good file, but it's a bit too easy to accept in this batch. Please send it in again during a regular batch!
