I wish like hell stepmania existed when i was in hs. I have a friend who sells music instruments who recommends ffr as a good rythm practice.

Are you older than me? I'm 25 and Stepmania* didn't really become popular until I was in high school, and even then, not until late freshman/early sophomore year, for me.


*Random note: At the time, DWI was the main engine everyone used until it faded out of obscurity due to Stepmania's meteoric rise.

she mostly wanted me to elaborate on my explanations of stepping techniques (I thought that my explanation of mines was really thorough, imho)...she also asked me about how long I've been stepping files, and if any of the files I played were mine (I didn't play any of my files that day tho). generally she was super cool about the whole thing, which surprises me a lot given how uptight a lot of Korean teachers are

You're one hell of a person; I believe you were the talk of the day, or the perhaps the whole week. The best I've done, is get my entire IT class to play FFR back in 2008. This lasted approximately 20 minutes.

wow that's an awesome story hahaaaa. I dunno about the whole school, but I was at least the talk of my classroom for a couple of hours....not to mention a bunch of guys wanted to try but since I didn't bring any easy songs I just had them play Sin on 0.3x (and surprisingly a lot of people did a hell of a lot better than I thought, made it like two-thirds of the way before failing)

Hehe I have shown many people at school about FFR and Stepmania and a lot of people at my highschool knows about my talent on it. Unfortunately no one tries to get involved with the games ;_;

I really wish I could get someone else involved in rhythm games with me so I don't feel alone. Guitar Hero doesn't count because I am not a fan of it.
