In all honesty, I initially wanted this thread because I hoped that newer users would come in and start posting their scores in the thread, but instead, it's turned into the "oh, my scores didn't get noticed in this thread so I'll post in the other one instead" thread. If that's going to be the way is going to be, then it should be locked. There's no reason for two threads if it's only going to segregate two separate groups of good players, and yes, if you're AAAing 9s and up, you're a good player.

I'm not mad at your for your post, just pointing out that I think I counted something like 9 posts that broke that rule in the last few pages alone, yet only one person is being attacked over it by several people. There's no need for a huge flamewar over a score post is basically my point. Really it's quite simple, ignore it here like in the normal ffr scores thread and eventually they have no reason to post it again. Or just report it and we'll take care of it.

I think you have the right idea AJ, trying to appeal to the lower skilled FFR players. The issue is, I think, that the lower skilled players don't even visit the forums and take part in being with the community at all. Who can blame them too, it's intimidating to walk in the forums and seeing people AAAing songs they can't even pass yet. If it were me, I wouldn't even bother to try and get myself noticed.

The Amateur Brag thread, easy batch, etc are all great ideas, but I think the community as a whole needs to learn to be accepting of them as well. I know when I started playing again, I was crap at FFR and treated as if I was invisible to anyone. But how to get that to change, I haven't the slightest clue.

The way that I see it: if you're able to SDG a 9 or higher, you're no longer an amateur. And even then, that's being reasonably lenient.

but I'm also not near decent enough to get recognition in the FFR Scores. Here, why don't we go ahead and create an intermediate scores thread. I completely disagree, but I'll sit and watch my post get breezed over by FMO's and FGO's being aaa'd sdg'd. It's a complete 'middle child' scenario. You're just an average Joe Schmo.

There's already been a huge debate on that and we're not going through it again. The rules of this thread are nothing higher than a 9 it's that simple. You're upset because you don't want your scores to be trumped by fmos and fgos but you want to come in here and go over people who are only AAAing 5s and 6s with your 9s and 10s that are SDGs. People post good fmos in the ffr scores thread and don't get mentioned.

every player has scores that get completely overlooked. Just because your scores don't get commented on doesn't mean you're allowed to post scores that are more than intimidating in this thread. Establish yourself as a regular player/user in the FFR scores thread and you'll get responded to as long as you respond to others back.

if you don't get a response, just move on and wait until you get another score. Back when Mathsma Attack came out, I 2g'd it and no one said a word about it, and guess what -- that's a FGO. Just improve and move on.

You know what? I went through just the last few pages and counted several posts that break this rule yet the only person you guys flame at is Andrew. I don't care if you don't like a particular person, if you're going to get on one persons case why not the others? Plus none the less don't you think maybe it would be better to report something and move on rather than causing a huge drama fest over a score post?

PA is still fuccin horrible.
