Why do we can't make a simfile on Windows 7 ???

I tried but he refused to let me see my dwi and sm file. For Windows 7, dwi and sm are invisible I made a difficulty 12 song and I'm very frustrated by the fact that each time that I save it, it say that a sm and dwi file is saved but when I go on the folder which contain by mp3 and the blank sm, there are no updated sm and dwi.

If someone know how to solve my problem before October 17, I will say him a big thank you.

Make sure that before you start Stepmania to right click it and click on Run As Administrator. I have that same issue as well.

Is there another way I can save it ? because it doesn't take all my work that I made on Stepmania. Running it as an administrator means that I lose all my long worked song.

Quick question: I don't have Stepmania anymore (aka uninstalled) and since I only use DDReam, is there anyway I can just send the .SM and song even though it says "you must use .dwi"?

Click show compatibility files, this is a problem with windows vista most of the time but can happen with windows seven as well.




If you take SM out of the programs file you shouldn't continue to have this problem. I have no idea why it does it but it's annoying. You'll probably have to hit the compatibility files thing inside your songs folder or whatever folder it is you should be seeing your charts in.
