I think I played Distorted God already by hitting random on 10min/11max like I usually do. So I can't remember, but I think it was a fun file. Gonna play it again so I can remember. lol
edit: Didn't play it before like I thought, but it's still a really fun song. One thing though: I haven't seen that many Triple Jumps on any song on FFR ever. o.o Not complaining though.
All three were fantastic. Distorted God had amazing flow and structure, Leaves in the Wind is the first time in a long time I've actually enjoyed a piano simfile, and Shu Kurimu is a nice song with appropriate steps.
Shu Kurimu: I swear she said grilled cheese halfway through.
Leaves: I feel as if I've heard this song in one of the Music Catch games on Kong.
Distorted God: Such a cool song with a pretty awesome file.
OH MY GOD. Best week arguably all summer for me. Last week we got Julian, which is now one of my favorite FFR files ever, and the song is AMAZING (Bmah, your 64th gallops put a smile on my face). Despite having one of my favorite songs ever though, it was only 1 song, as the one handed trills took the fun out of Julia for me, and I haven't played Metro yet.
However this week was AWESOME.
First, Leaves in the Wind was a fun, pretty piano piece that didn't feel to long and was stepped very well. Possibly the hardest for me to AAA this week, because the roll at the end kept catching me off guard every time. However, great easy song, and well balanced, 32nd jump trills felt great and I liked the pitch relevance.
Shu Kurima no Uta was a nice little easy file. Great choice for a v2, but it was short and sweet as is. The epic piano in the background was great to listen to, and the stepping to the vocals was one of those great jobs where it doesn't feel understepped or overstepped, just right. Not really going to play it again, but great for beginners.
Now the big hitter, Distorted God. By far my favorite file of the week and one of my favorites this summer. The file is good old fashioned FFR style, lots of 16th stream, jumpstream, and occasional bursts. The end however, blew me AWAY. It was a great song (I love that type of music), and the steps felt perfect. It was fun and straightforward, flowed really well, loved the 32nd triplet slow down and the 24ths and 12th polyrhythms made my penis big. I thought it would be really hard to AAA, but I got it on my 3rd try. Definitely going to play again, it was SOOO fun. Love the jumpstream, love the 24th roll transition, it was all so great! A nice rival for Julian.
Great week all in all. Can't wait to see what's to come next year!
It's getting better all the time
I used to get mad at my school (No, I can't complain)
The teachers who taught me weren't cool (No, I can't complain)
You're holding me down (Oh Oh)
Turning me round (Oh Oh)
Filling me up with your rules (Oooh)
So basically these are my herp derp thoughts about this week's files:
Distorted God: Much better on mirror, alright to play
Leaves In The Wind: Yay a piano song that doesn't play like a CTRL+R file! Good job iironiic, I actually didn't find it that boring compared to the other piano files
Shu Kurimu no Uta:
That singing.....

Tronbon makes my dick big. My child sex fantasy. I think we should all realize how sexy these files are, nearly as sexy as tronbon's miniscule bust region. Where was I going with this? Nowhere that's where. Also, Tronbon must be in distorted god because song is smexy as hell
