lol idk if this will help any but I have a really nice laptop brand new but for some reason when Im on facebook chat it derps just like what its doing to you after the chat gets filled up a bit :P maybe you just need to do a simple computer cleaning and get some free space going. maybe a driver crashed look for your keyboards driver? If it keeps doing it after all that I suggest system restore to the furthest date you can and if THAT dosnt work just factory reset your comp. back up your important files and do that.

I use that term for basically any jacking pattern that forms a one-handed runningman pattern (or pseudo-runningman).
