My wrists are never resting on my keyboard, they are always "hovering".
I can get similar scores on either mirror or non-mirror.

I can do both, but I can't tell which makes the song easier. It's pretty equal I think, at least for most parts.
Also, I find that mirror is easier for the beginning part but after that short 32nd roll/burst it's easier on non-mirror.

I hover on any really tough spots but when its a relaxed part of the song or really easy I will sometimes rest my hands. Mainly hover though since thats the only way I could hit jacks and streams.
