Black & White V2 (Sensationer)
Better after you cut it but it's still very repetitive and boring but I guess you can't really help it due to the song choice alone. I hate to shoot down long files like this since I see you've put effort into stepping this but with all honesty, I'd save this for another pack
No
Sandstorm ~Audioscape Remix~ (Aeterna)
TBH I don't know what to say about this. The layering is decent but a lot of pattern usage for this was very awkward flow breaking. For example, That huge runningman pattern at M39+ and the ending 32nd bursts that form left handed minijacks. Also, there's a lack of layering variation which makes this much more generic and boring to playthrough. Also found those hand placements very randomly placed; If you're going to use hands, be more thorough with the usage so it doesn't seem completely randomly thrown in. Needs some tweaks. No
Slam (Sensationer)
Heavy - The hand usage in this felt a bit too overemphasized at times, mostly because of the song choice itself. Layering in this is passable, though there's a lack of layering variation since it more or less follows the exact same structure for the whole file. In contrast with the Oni chart, this doesn't really sit well as an easier difficulty, lol. No
Oni - The layering for this is all over the place which I find awkward. Sure it's hard and playable for scoring but TBH I don't find this enjoyable or fun to playthrough at all. For the most part, the steps don't match up with the song; You have a relatively chill rock song with really dense and hard to hit patterns, however it's still far from being classified as a midare-esque dumpfile. No
Enemy Storm (Dark Jungle Mix) (Yume)
Heavy - Same deal about the holds at Beat 174+. Good as an easier difficulty. Yes
Oni - Holds were long and made it dense for reading, but it's passable considering this is the hardest difficulty. Beat 174+, I found it strange that you layered the long holds on the same note when the pitch of the notes are different (one being higher than the other). Changing one of them would better suit the song IMO. Overall, layering was solid and this was enjoyable to playthrough. Yes
Beat U Down (Yume)
Heavy - Good as an easier difficulty. Yes
Oni - Jacks addded a nice scoring factor despite being a bit hard to hit. Layering was solid and this was enjoyable to playthrough. Yes
Wuv U (Lynn)
Mine usage in this was excellent. M26+ I would personally layer as jumps to emphasize the synth chords. Could've used a few more hand placements IMO but overall this was enjoyable to playthrough. Yes
Someday (Lynn)
I would personally layer more of the percussion with jumps as it's very prominent in the song, but what you have is fine since you didn't completely ignore it. The hand usage in the second half contributed nicely to some climax which added a nice touch. Overall, fairly enjoyable as a MA file. Yes
Bamhanului Fantasy (Yume)
Standard - Good as an easier difficulty. Yes
Heavy - Good as an easier difficulty. Yes
Oni - Sort of felt like a Roar file, haha. The jump-to-hand jack transitions were hard to hit but overall this is pretty fun for jumpstream. Would've expected a bit more hand usage though as a harder difficulty. Yes
Skyward (Yume)
Heavy - Good as an easier difficulty. Yes
Oni - Minijacks added a nice scoring factor. Fairly enjoyable to playthrough as a MA file. Yes
Nariagari (x1.5) (Lynn)
I honestly have no idea what to say about this, lmao. Layering is good and it's playable for scoring, but I question if anyone is going to have fun playing through all of this, especially with 3 charts. I hate to shoot down long files like this since I see you've put effort into stepping this but with all honesty, I'd save this for another pack
No
Panorama (Merkyy)
Offset is off which makes the file layering off as well. The beginning measures are completely offsync. The jump placements are off at times because of the offset issue. The entire file is pretty much the same layering and patterns being copy pasted over and over again. This is not how you should step a file and this needs some major revamping/reworking if you want to make this packworthy. No
Border of Evans (Kaneh)
Was wondering when someone would step the AU mashups, lol. That being said, layering in this is passable. Beat 86, the transition after the 32nd roll is awful to hit. Shifting the arrow placements around to avoid that 16th-to-8th jack would be better. Decent for scoring, not so sure if this will be played much due to the mashup, lol. Yes
Posts updated. We're at 30 files. Probably bumping the file limit somewhere between 40-50 considering that submission flow is fast.Last edited by Gundam-Dude; 05-17-2011, 07:52 PM.Comment

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2011 (Submissions Open)
I'm enjoying the Korean simfiles quite a bit actually. It's a different style than what we're used to, but in a good way (heavily influenced by other bemani games of course hehu). But please for the love of god, zip everything in a folder, not each file individually.
and saku I think you need better song choice. snadstrom is probably the worst song you could step, even as a remix. no offense, the file was decent.

Re: FFR Community Pack Summer 2011 (Submissions Open)
I might send my already released Sexplosion file to this after a few tweaks, if it will allow stolen (but awesome) graphics done by zimlord. I could try to do my own (assuming I get an accept), but I'm shit at them.Comment

Read the original post. It says everything you need to know, aka ''Send all submissions to: lightchancellors@gmail.com''
Also, that sig is unnecessarily HUGE... Mind sizing it down before a mod notices? :PComment
