I'll rarely build him either with only tank items or only AP items - usually a nice mix of both. I like Force of Nature, Randuin's, Abyssal Scepter (both AP and MR), and Rylai's. Almost always Sorceror's Shoes for the magic penetration, unless (of course) the CC is heavy enough. The build overall gives me decent survivability and some damage.

Edit: One game with a leaver, the other game with a 1/11 Garen and 2/11 Jax. F*ck my life.

I got to play Nasus and Irelia in consecutive ranked games last night for my personal "carry hard" champs.

The match went on long enough with Nasus that I had well over 400 damage on Siphoning Strike before we broke into their base, and I was capable of eating a tank Udyr in about 5 seconds with Irelia late game.

I'd play Kat, but.... I just feel dirty when I play her. It's almost too easy to do well with her XD.



Edit: That game I just played was pretty "....wtf?" I got to pick Amumu as 4th on my team and the 4th set of picks. Irelia was shotgun banned first. Neither team had a jungler. (<---- haven't seen a ranked game without a jungler yet). Anyway, Taric + Amumu is just stupid.

They nerfed vlad to the ground he's useless now, as for cho'gath his chomp is really his only dps and that's about it. Shen would be a much more viable hero if you want some damage from early to mid.

Didn't they bring down his AP ratios? His ratios are still nice though, and I won't doubt that with some CDR he'll still do pretty good damage.

uhhhh, in the last patch they reworked his stats to lean more toward caster than tank

his ap ratios are pretty good, they do some really nice damage
