It's so gross. How can you assume you will still have the same interests in 50 years. There are better ways to express your interests / beliefs, like wearing a t shirt or something.

I generally agree with this, but I also think that there can be some tasteful tattoos.

I have a couple of tattoo designs that I've done that I really want tattooed on me, but I have yet to find a good enough tattoo artist to do the job. The artist I end up going with MUST at least be somewhere around my own skill level, so I know he/she wouldn't **** it up.
This. I don't want anything so permanent to be risked screwing up. I'll be spending a great deal of time looking for a great tattooist before I get something done.
