i dont think daft punk are BAD by any means but really as if they were innovative enough to make this statement

they fall into a house genre that is pretty much made for dancing and easy listening, and while they are very good in that respect it is very conceivable for someone who listens to music for different reasons to not enjoy them.

theyre a duo i would never say no to at a party or dance but really i'm not going to put them on for recreational or isolated listening; theyre too boring to just "listen to" for me
