Thanks.
The only thing I can't get to work right now is the main interior light, it's supposed to dim everything up a tad with red without casting shadows but meh.
And the tv table etc isn't realistic, haven't changed the texture xP
Re: My first "real" 3D architecture assignment - Living room
There's a reflection of light on the main window that makes it look like there's a sqaure something blocking light. Almost like something is blocking the light.
Lol lensflare on the far right couch's leg.
Now that TV is bugging me... You should put a really slight reflection in it because it just looks black.
Around the bottoms of the window panes, it looks like the background is... poorly photoshopped on there. I don't know what happened there but since it changes every minute or so meh.
EDIT: It looks like the room is too narrow compared to the assigned picture. It's going to be hell to fix that with the TV and reflections and such...

It's 1 20 raytrace ref on it. The leg on the couch was fixed by moving the light, the window box is the carpet on the ground, I changed the glass to arch & de instead of pro materials, problem fixed with some glossy/blurry ref effect.
Window panes? I'm afraid your eyes are playing tricks on you: it's the background on my 3D file, it's not rendered in afterwards.
I've made a final render and applied the rest of the realistic textures, aswell as changed the curtains. I've also added drapery on the table, changed the leather texture and afew more additions that made the first picture seem plain.
Alas I agree to the picture being too narrow, but the camera shot he used is probably in ortographic, he shows more than what is possible with a regular lense on the flats, but I figured I'd not care about that =p
However, I will not upload my final render due to an agreement with the school.

So when is/was this project due? Hopefully you still have enough time to show us what it looks like.

Today, and I'm not allowed to post finished result on the web due to them finding it online hence raising doubt over me thieving it or making it myself.
But darkshark had a good point, I will render a low resolution render of it to satisfie some curiousity.
