Well I don't see anyone here jumping up to magically fix a broken scoring system. We all know it needs to be done, but unless you want to completely reprogram stepmania, it's not happening sorry

I might try giving this a shot after I finish the patch I'm currently working on (fixing crash on songs with video bg with certain (old?) graphics cards/drivers)

EDIT: I've known this for years and it has entirely ruined my stepmania experience and matters a lot. I actually sunk into a life of depression and alcoholism because the stepmania scoring engine was inadequate.

Thank god my stepmania friends were there for me
