I also have a sin 2cb video but i'm not uploading it till i resolve some issues with my camera lol. its an ancient camera so the quality is crap anyway

Yeah I posted it in my achievements list post. I've probably improved it since two days ago since already I'm reading chords a little better. Once BCMP4 is done downloading I'm gonna open up SM and start tonight's session.

PS, do you know how to have SMO load songs from SM3.9's Songs folder?

In return, tell me how to MA. Even on charts that couldn't be simpler (Chocolate Rain easy) I'm getting 200-20 or some crap.

Absolutely terrible MA, but I'm happy with my improvement. Beginning is really easy for me now, when I couldn't read it yesterday. Parts of the end are still annoying though.

Sorry didn't see you typed that in your last post.

When I first really started playing solo (about a week and a half ago, used to just do down-right simple **** 4th note files) I had horrible MA. As I played more, I learned to read patterns, learned to decipher and hit them faster, and how to move my ring finger effectively. My MA followed suite. MA is the timing you get on notes that are synced with the song. However good your MA is on singles, it will be transferred to solo once you learn to read patterns and use your ring finger.

Right now you are playing quite easy files and trying to improve your MA on them. This may be your strategy, but to me its the exact opposite of what I do. To be honest, I don't give a flying **** about my MA. I just kept playing harder and harder stuff (even if I near-failed them) and I started to improve quite quickly. I learned to read chords in just two days, I learned to read jump/chordstream in three or four days, just from playing harder files that were out of my league.

Now that I can read a lot more and my ring finger is starting to catch up with the skill at which my index and middle fingers are at, my MA just kind of showed up. At the moment you're thinking too much on reading and hitting the notes themselves, even if you know the file. This therefore slows down your reaction, therefore bringing down your MA.

tl;dr once you are able to read solo patterns and your ring finger becomes more dexterous, your MA should follow suite. If not, I'd try J7.

PS my MA really isn't as good as you may think it is. Its starting to catch up, but a lot of my greats and perfs still come from things involving my ring finger. AKA:

All greats were in the stream, where it involved my ring finger. Actually I think like two were in the roll part.

Even in singles my MA isn't exactly amazing. I just have speed. >__>
