Re: Buy a truck, get an AK-47
Well, than why do you even object to this? the people who get them will more than likely just have them for self defense. The guy who committed the crime in your old trailer park was probably mentally unstable to begin with, and more than likely was illegally in possession of the pistol anyways.I never said it wasn't acceptable to own a gun.
1.) Those people weren't my friends, I stated that they were players.
2.) I used it as an example, I don't care if you heard any or not.
3.) There are also tons of people who go and kill with guns. And also I didn't say everyone was going to have that reaction. I said it's a possibility, and it most likely has happened. Actually it did happen in my old neighborhood some time ago. A guy took a pistol and killed many people in a trailer park near me. For what reason, there was no reason. He killed innocent people for the hell of it."4chan is the Africa of the internet. Hey man, not everyones mind is stable. I'm just saying that if you're going to sell something and have an added bonus, at least let it be something that isn't so harmful towards others. That's why in my state "Illinois", they had a event where everyone gathered and wanted to have a rule where the right to bear arms was minimized. A person may buy a pistol once a year or so.Well, than why do you even object to this? the people who get them will more than likely just have them for self defense. My point is that the system set up for the legal purchase of guns is set up to prevent those mentally unstable people from getting guns. And the voucher that this is giving out still requires the people trying to get the gun to go through the proper background checks and physiological needed to even be able to own a gun.Hey man, not everyones mind is stable. Those mentally unstable people who get and commit crimes with guns always get the guns illegally, and therefore could not get an AK47 or ANY other gun for that matter with the voucher that is ONLY good at these stores that are legally licensed to sell guns, who will not sell the gun to the people who are not recognized as mentally fit by the test."4chan is the Africa of the internet. Even if that may be, a person who is normal can still change with the possession of it. Once again, I don't see the purpose of advertising something that's harmful towards others. My point is that the system set up for the legal purchase of guns is set up to prevent those mentally unstable people from getting guns. Re: Buy a truck, get an AK-47
By that logic, we should ban all movies, TV shows, and video games with gun violence because they make firing a gun look "cool" and to be perfectly honest are far more powerful than a guy in Mississippi mentioning that he gives away vouchers for guns with the purchase of a $20,000 truck.
In saying that any normal person can just pick up a gun and all of a sudden want to kill people, you are using the same argument people like Jack Tompson (however you spell that) and the like are using to get violent video games banned.Last edited by Chachazero1; 07-19-2009, 11:02 PM."4chan is the Africa of the internet. Re: Buy a truck, get an AK-47
So apparently, from what I've read, Superfreak04 is saying that the voucher makes AK-47 easier to get. But he also says that AK-47s are rare in shops, right?
So this means that, even with the voucher, you'd still have to hand it over to a shop that HAS the AK-47, right?
How is that different than simply marching down to one of those shops, with MONEY instead of a voucher, and buying a rifle? Please explain, because I'm confused! Is he saying that it's easier to obtain a rare rifle with a voucher, than it is with actual money? o.o What's the bloody difference?
Be it with real money OR the voucher, you'd still have to find a store that sells the rifle. Which according to you, is a rare thing to find. That being said, anyone who can afford the truck can just as easily obtain a rifle as the people who bought the truck and earned the voucher. The rarity of the AK-47 has NOTHING to do with it.Comment
