Ive recently sold all my Guitar Hero/Rock band games/equipment

Some of you know how much I devoted my life to the game, it was about time I quit

Have fun in this tournament guys, full support to all of you!

Btw, are you allowing Downloadable content? I think you should allow it, but ask everyone who has what to make it fair. You don't want some ppl playing Are You Dead Yet? and others not having the chance to even play it because they don't have it.

If, somehow, everyone has the same DLC song, sure I guess. I don't see that happening though.

And I'd love a lot of the questions answered, especially about overdrive. And I have no xbox live so I can't buy the songs on there, so I'm assuming all of those songs won't be allowed either.

I request overdrive is not allowed.
Overdrive/star power is allowed in all RB/GH tournaments.

I think it's more of FFR tradition to have technical scoring. The scoring would be more skill-based if you didn't allow overdrive. Anyone with a brain is just going to look up the path anyway.

Obvious questions incoming:

How is song selection going to work? Are you going to pick a song and have everyone play it, or is everyone allowed to pick their own song for each difficulty?

How is scoring going to work, especially if we're not all playing the same song?

I request overdrive is not allowed.

I don't see the problem, but I was requesting no overdrive for guitar and bass.

Why would it be retarded?
Not everyone will be able to FC the easy songs. Maybe you'll have to have a tiebreaker a round or two. This happens in FFR with AAAs.

I'm sure I'm just not thinking though.

Because when you have Overdrive ready on drums, fill sections come extremely often. Every four bars, often every two bars. If we save overdrive throughout the whole thing, we'll probably only be playing 75% of the song.

Besides, fill bars usually go over the actual song's fills. This means the more challenging parts of the songs will be skipped over, and especially in easy songs, this will lead to a huge increase in FCs.

It'd be ridiculous. Maybe on the other instruments it's fine, but definitely not drums.
