Yeah you set them up so that if they were better then you they automatically got moved to a higher division and if they were worse, they got to be lower. Which I found to be incredibly stupid and unfair, but hey, its not like you can argue against a mod or anything...right?

What on earth are you talking about? If I'd put everyone better than me into D3, wouldn't I have -won- D2 instead of being eliminated by like, round 4? YOu have no idea what you're talking about.

I did Pure in Asia. It was Border to Maximum, I can't remember what round it was then =/

I just checked, round 4 was Border to maximum. and It was AAA to advance.

Fourth tourney was dumb, every round was AAA or bf to advance in almost every division. I saw one round where every person AAA'ed the main song =/

devonin, we're talking about THIS tourney, not last one.

but meh im not looking to start an argument.

i just think these placements should be chosen like normal tourneys.

usually somone with your skill, devonin, would be placed in D1.

With the way users are improving, I wouldn't be surprised if the standards for divisions were highly increased this year. Someone with Devonin's skill might actually end up in D1 this time.

No Bolth, I am not talking about last year. My stats were on par with Devs last year and I was still placed in D3 and went out in the first round. I'm not even good enough for D2 at this point, yet for some reason I have the feeling Ill be higher then that anyway.

I commonly win the tourneys held at my local game stop. I've never been out to the big ones that are held in philly though mainly because all the tournaments down there are won by whoever chain grabs better.

I can chain grab, but it's never banned at the philly tourneys, and i tend to get bored when the games turn into "don't let him touch you or instant death (falco's around here). In order to advance beyond top 16 around here you basically have to be falco/d3 or someone with enough weight and a good enough recovery to make it back to the stage if you get chain spiked. (Snake, kirby, MK) (Personally, I don't like playing with any of those charachters)

I don't really mind playing wifi for fun matches though. Sometimes the lag is bad sometimes it isnt.
