Ugh, Jumped into a 10-man group that was mostly from one guild, Undying run all the way through to Sapphiron when we lose two people to a bonehead move where every single person all piled in behind he first ice block, before there was a second iceblock, so it landed right onto the whole party.

Amateurs.

Sometimes I hope someone dies early in the raid just so we don't have the stress of an undying run on our hands.

Though I finally got in a capable enough group tonight to be able to do the Safety Dance achievement. It was yet another 3-hour full clear. Woot.

So...we have a pretty low-progression server. Like our number 3 progression guild for alliance is like, 4 or 5 bosses into Ulduar.

I'm curious how the Ulduar "stuff" price gouging is on your servers.

There's a guy in trade right now who has the rogue DPS boots recipe charging "Your mats + 500 gold" The only enchanter I've seen with Enchant Weapon - Blade Ward gave up on selling the enchant directly because too many people got mad at him for charging "Your mats + 200 gold"

Downed Hodir in 10 man last week and made a few attempts at Mimiron, but didn't really have the time. Seems like a bitch of a fight, I really wish my 10-man ran more than 2 nights a week.

Got 2 upgrades in 25-man today, a new offhand and new bracers. This put me at the most geared person in my guild, according to wow-heroes.com. Probably doesn't mean much, but I found it mildly amusing. 2359 is my score at the moment.

You can either wait a little while until the prices drop, or pay the price for better gear now. Blade Ward isn't that great by the way, stay with whatever you're using. It won't proc enough for a paladin, and you don't get any bonus threat than the damage the proc causes.

Some people are willing to pay loads for gold to get better items faster, rather than waiting until someone they know get the pattern. On my server, 1st person that got Blade Ward wasn't even advertising it and I tipped her 150g just because it's a "high" enchant.

As for BoEs, we sold a plate DPS helm, 2 bracers, a mail skirt and a plate healing chest piece for about 3 to 6k an item.(Hurray guild bank!)

Woo, upgrades. Offtanked for a random guild tonight for 10 man Naxx. Full clear, didn't take too long. Got three upgrades, then blew a bunch of money gemming/enchanting.

Not a single one of those BoE crafted items from Ulduar is worth 18000-30000 gold.

Mind you, they also aren't remotely worth 114 emblems of conquest either.

I'm really not sure what they thought the point of this would be except to take money from the rich but ignorant.

Some of the crafted belts from runed orbs are Best In Slot. So if you're drowning in gold why not get the best?

I agree to a certain extent, but at the same time why drop 18k on a belt that in like 6 months time will be so easy to make and will cost like 1kish? Not seeming to be worth it to me. ESPECIALLY seeing as there is going to be t9 eventually so it won't even remain to be the BiS.

By that logic, getting any kind of gear isn't worth it because tehre is always going to be better gear.

I think a lot of the 213->219 switches aren't really much of an upgrade. I mean, if it's got the exact same itemization but more so, go for it, but I certainly woudln't pay a large sum for them.

I have 200 epic bracers, and the 213 BoE valor bracers are so barely an improvement that I mean, if I've got emblems laying around and nothing to do with them, why not, but for the 1800-2000 gold people charge for them? It's better, but it's not 2000 gold better.

Ditto these. They're better yes, but are they 18,000 gold better?

The valor bracers sell for 800 gold on my server.

But I never have the money when I see them being sold.

What's sad is that my ret second best in slot are the valor bracers, so I guess I should pony up the cash for them.

What I like about the ulduar stuff, at least in 10 man, is that it's much better itemized than the 200 stuff you get in naxx 10. (350 armor and less defense, etc etc)
