That's about 50% of the reason I want a modded pedal.
The other 50% is the spring in the stock pedal prevents me from doing fast kick beats.

After playing on a RB1 pedal for so long, anything is a huge improvement. Even the RB2 pedal, which feels like it has significantly less tension, makes playing fast stuff much easier.

If it wasn't that then homeboy missed in the first three notes like everyone does and then FCed the rest and squeezed his way to victory (missing that early only loses you a couple hundred points which each squeeze note would make up).
