undeniable proof why Japan kicks ass in every original
version of an anime they create, even for Pokemon.
Epic LvL= 100.00% (like a freakin RPG in conflict)
Epic LvL= 85.05% (the theme's calm, plus has a rockin beat)
As you'll see, the japanese version themes makes this anime truly epic,
while our themes are 1-2 minutes long. I'd bet every time the show
came on in Japan, everybody would start rockin and rollin all over the
place...jeez! I hate America...its not as cool here.Comment

That is correct. Actually, 4Kids did a REALLY nice job with some of the earlier openings for the earlier seasons (seasons 1 and 2), but the Japanese ones are way more epic. The first season intro (the classic "I Wanna Be The Very Best...) was used for the first 84 episodes and then was ditched; in Japan, however, they've reused their first season opening (Aim To Be A Pokemon Master) at least 6 times, even for newer seasons. Oh, and don't forget that the Japanese openings have cool scenes in them that are usually removed in the American openings (for some reason, they have a really immersed atmosphere with some scenes, such as the scenes where it's raining, unlike the American ones).
