It's really unfortunate that they raised the price for the membership fee. And especially to the people(like me) who cant use the new HD Runescape. But i was a member long before the change so i still only have to pay $5.00 =D

i used to play rs lots, i started bout 3 months after launch of rs 2 but i quit basically because jagex ruined the game which really sucks as it was an amazing game (death to all non-believers) before they implemented that god-awful trade limit update and ruined the wilderness AND started banned people for the stupidest reasons ever. I was a lvl 93 and was ranked 7000 (at the time) in fishing. God i miss the good old days.

Btw, for anybody who still itches to play the original game can do so here:

Before you freak out at me, I want to point out that it is a private server and the exp is 5.5x faster. The link above is a forum with instructions on what to do. It is a lot of fun to go back and play it though, despire it being pretty loaded with autoers currently, but the guys running it are working on getting rid of them.

Also, before you tell me "JAGEX IS GOING TO HUNT THEM AND MAKE THEIR EARS BLEED" I'll have you know Jagex has already given them a C&D which they fought. Jagex threatened to up the ante by taking it to the law, but it has been 3 months since and they've done nothing. The team feels as though they have a pretty strong legal stance and they feel like their server won't get shut down.

I played Runescape before. Johndabomb2 was my first account, he had 99 pray, he got hacked. I made a pure, which then turned into my main, Black Bulet7, I still have him, I just don't play.

Why are there still a bunch of people who just post in this thread to say they have quit? Sure they may be better than the people who come here to say RuneScape is gay and sucks, but does no one want to actually talk about RuneScape the game?
