I deff. have a QM set, I'll try the Penny/Nickel mod on it, should i keep the socks on with it? or should i just have the Penny/Nickel inside of the drum?

I'd suggest the sock mod. I believe the coin mod INCREASES the sensitivity (plays small hits so you don't have to bang them), so I don't think you'd want that to happen in a set that is already over-sensitive. I have the QM right now and it works perfectly with the sock mod.

Then you most likely have the EL set for this to happen. Either that or you didn't set it up right =/.

You can try the coin mod if you like. I haven't had a chance to try it on my EL set before it cracked, but I heard that it doesn't work too well on the QM set.

I DO have a QM, it says it on the back, the Sock Mod worked for a while for recently its just be horrible.I'm gonna try the Coin Mod with out Socks, then with and see which one is better, thats if the coin mod even works.

Ok I did it.

I didn't have any Nickels around so i just used Penny's.

After taking the socks of every pad, i found out that theres 2 cracks in my red drums, which is probably why it sucked.

but anyway i ended up using 2 Penny's for the Red Drums,1 for the Yellow one, nothing on Blue(but i put a sock on it) and 2 on Green, it works pretty good, better than it was before so thats a plus, but its not like brand new perfect, but I'm happy with it.

I'm starting to suspect that my yellow pad has a crack in it, as I was dropping yellows like crazy during The Hellion/Electric Eye.

How exactly does one check for pad cracks? Just take them off, or does something need to be removed?

Just feel the top of the pad and if you feel any bumps, or if the pad feels weird when hitting them, it's cracked.

Otherwise, the pad is just failing on you =/.

Urgh. Nirvana DLC soon. For ages people where saying "oh awesome, they're finally putting their well known songs in soon" then all of a sudden, BAM, Nirvana pack. Then you find out the songs you wanted to play were left out for some stupid ****ing reason.

Seriously who cares about those dreadful songs.

I agree with everything you just said. Really not the best choice of songs for Nirvana, not really the best choice of songs in general, though I'm not a big Nirvana fan in the first place. Only one I'll probably pick up is Breed.

At least HMX will redeem themselves when they release "The Colour and The Shape" album DLC.

To be honest, it seems almost as though there's some kind of problem with Nevermind that's stopping them from just releasing the album like they intended to ages ago. If anything, I would have to put my money on there being some sort of issue with the masters, sort of like how they couldn't get a full album pack out from The Who before.

The tracklist available from Nevermind isn't too bad though. It could be a LOT worse. Anyway, I just glanced at the DLC listing on Wikipedia and it lists Come as You Are, Lithium, and Smells Like Teen Spirit as confirmed future releases (although the source turns out to be a kotaku posting indicating that they're merely HIGHLY LIKELY and not necessarily confirmed). This lends credence to the idea that they were working on the whole set but are unable to get these tracks done. These are the tracks I'd expect you're really looking for, I suppose it'd figure that these would be the ones missing from the pack, eh? A shame to say the least, but yeah, it could be a lot worse. Imagine not getting any Nevermind at all.
