Played a bit of it. Started with Guitar Expert.

It's fun, but right now the music isn't that great. Guess I'll have to keep playing until I get the good songs.

Although I managed to play Chop Suey as one of my requirements so I "give my whiny drummer a hard drum song to play". That was one hell of a fun song to play.

score tracking is really really dumb this time around

I played through a little bit on drums and guitar but my 360 kept freezing so I gave up. Next time I'll face my fan towards it and try to play through until some of the hard stuff.

The drum trainer was pretty fun, though some of the beats were wtf. I had never even seen anything like them before, it was weird seeing them as if they were "basic" beats that are used throughout drumming.

I've been playing 2 all night with my girlfriend, so far the $65 has been worth it. We were both smiling like 15 seconds into Eye of the Tiger. The drum trainer is great, just what I'd hoped for, ... really looking forward to getting better at drumming.

And the first of the preordered premium kits are supposed to be arriving mid September as well. Mine hasn't shipped yet, but I was rather late to the preorder party.

I think the special mic with built in controller might be out too, but I'm nowhere near 100% on that.

It's really just the basic kit and basic guitar (and the bundle containing them, of course). Microphone is entirely interchangeable though, so I'm not even going to give a thought to the basic mic.

Oh and of course the special peripherals out now are only for 360 for now. Suckers.

Seriously, that **** was out before the game even. Oh right... you're in angleland. It's out though, man. You should be able to find more information and images and probably even videos of it.

Anyway, has there been any news on what the 20 free DLC is gonna be? Just checked and it looks like the webpage for it isn't ready yet. Not that I even have a Live account set up yet. Should I go for "Afrombean" or "AbnerOaf" or something else ("Afrobean" having already been taken by some other loser).

EDIT: weird... I just checked google video search and came up with nothing, checked ebay and found only a single auction and it was still in the box. No pictures for you, Mr. Europe man.

how dare they let Xbox have exclusive for like a month???? but... i'm not complaining cuz it'll come out for PS3 less than a month!! ^_^
