Okay, so, I went kite flying the other day at the beach, and you know what? You should probably pack more than one string, because mine snapped really quickly. The kite didn't go very far - it got caught in a whipper-wind and slammed into the water. I was kind of upset because it was a kite I had made myself out of cloth and had to wait forever for it to dry. I did have a calzone while I waited, so I guess it was okay. On the other hand, I'll probably never get the kite to fly the same way again. The framing was damaged pretty bad and the rope I bought from the hardware store - more strong than the string I was using, but also heavier - only exacerbated the problem. It was a pretty eventful day, though.

You know you're not respected in FFR when you had the money to pay for a subbie and instead bought a cd with it.

In reference to my full post (regarding STEPMANIA), I was referring to these guys, or most of them. Yes, I realize lowercasing and such is a TGB thing too, but I didn't really think TGB regulars were respected much outside their own small circle anyway.

EDIT: Mal was clearly making a joke.

LOL. I just find the "coincidence" a little humorous.
