Hello sir, I am a representative from eBay.
Um, ok. May I help you?
Yes, I am going to need some more information. What is your social security, work hours, sperm count, sexual orientation, and hours of absence from your home?
From what I've read on Wikipedia and a few other sources, the counter resets when we reach 100k grains of rice. It looks like we're going to have to submit multiple screenshots of how much rice we have, all with very good proof of the time, if any of us surpasses 100k grains. This means taking a screenshot EXACTLY when each interval of 100k grains are made so that the screenshots can be added up. Taking a screenshot earlier than that means that there's no way to tell if the rice counter was just reset early or they really did pass 100k grains. This could be a problem, Arch, although it shouldn't be if we take good screenshots.

Won't work.
Step 1) Get 100k
Step 2) Take pic
Step 3) Wait 22.4 hours
Step 4) Take another pic
Step 5) Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you win
I guess it will be necessary to take a screenshot of hitting 100k then getting 20 more grains right after that, and then repeating the process for each interval of 100k grains that you make. This means TWO screenshots for each interval of 100k grains made. There is no way to game that if there is proof of the time.
Edit: For proof of time, perhaps an atomic time server should be used, windows time can be changed pretty easily.
Ultimately there will be ways to cheat. I will have to go with my gut about not counting someone's if I think they are bs, but the atomic clock is a good idea. So, if you hit 100,000, use an atomic clock, then take another turn, then take another screen shot.

In addition, make sure your total is not divisible by 1000. So if you have earned 10,000 grains of rice, answer one more question. This is another measure to ensure cheating does not occur.
I think that we should take screenshots of 99,980, instead of the 100,000, because you can find scores with the 100,000 all over the google.

I thought you said that it wasn't possible to get over 100,000, so there's no way you can get 100,020.
Do you guys think it is fair for me to request a video if you are approaching or surpassing 100,000? What I'm thinking is a requirement of a video showing the time clock http://www.time.gov/timezone.cgi?Eastern/d/-5/java going in the background with the user reaching 100,000 and then surpassing it. Video's must also show the users ffr profile.

You misunderstood what I said. I said that you should take two screenshots, one of when you reach 100k, and another of when you get 20 more grains of rice, which means that your total will only be 20 grains.

I don't feel that it is fair since not everyone does have access to a camera, but if it's necessary, then go right ahead.
A camera is not required. Taking a couple of screenshots or using a video recording program would be much easier. Just have 3 windows open, one of freerice, one of your profile, and one of an atomic time server displaying the time, or just take a video of the process.
Alright. I'll do it with the three screen shots then. A video would be more secure, but I don't want to exclude anyone. Plus cheating on something like this would give you insane bad karma.
