I think we are going to switch services but this service is completely honest and reputable. No hidden charges, no recurring charges.. You just pay once for what you agree to. (if your carrier supports it! ha!)

The only part I don't like about subscriptions is the fact that bans override them. I can live with forum-banning, but for a ban to override a paid subscription is a little much. A forum ban shouldn't screw with the functionality of my subscription, where the functions of that subscription only extend to the forums in the form of a subbie forum.

If you can live with being forum banned then why are you ban evading right now? Not trying to be rude, just pointing that little tid bit out lmao

Because I disagree 100% with the punishments of my ban. I would not care/evade so much if banning didn't screw with my subscription. That just makes me very upset. A forum ban should have no effect whatsoever on my game purchases. I paid for a subscription so I could play subscriber levels and have access to the other functions that subscribers do, but a forum ban somehow removes access to all that.

I am all in favor of supporting FFR monetarily speaking, but removing the functionality of my subscriber status once I've paid for it after being banned for something so innocuous compared to what goes on in these forums is just crazy.

If you were to give me back my subscriber access, I'd abide by my no-posting-in-forum ban 100%, no questions asked. But if you're going to not give me something I paid for, then that's taking it a bit far, in my opinion.

I could be wrong, but when Izlude got banned, didn't he keep subscriber status? I think he got special treatment in that case though.

I know it is off topic MalDON, but I agree with rubix on this. Ive been forum banned before and it took away my subscriber privlidges, yes, we need some sort of punishment for being banned from the forums if we get forum banned, but shouldnt that just be it?

I mean I think if you screw around and break a forum rule, then you should be banned from the forums. That is fine and I can agree with that 100%.

But to remove forum functionality AND subscriber functionality doesn't really make sense to me. If someone screws around with the site outside of the forums, then I'd see a subscriber-status removal being more justified. But I can still play the game when forum-banned. I shouldn't have my paid-for subscription removed.

If FFR is ever going to receive any more donations/payments from me, I'd rather know that they're not going to be removed because of a really retarded forum incident.

EDIT: And, if they are, then it should be listed in the rules somewhere. I can't find such a rule anywhere. If it actually exists somewhere then I'll take full responsibility for my actions and consequences, but otherwise I disagree with it.
