If you don't notice lag then you are either not good enough or not in tune enough with the games timing for it to matter. If you don't notice the incorrect timing on a vista computer then you are probably awful anyway.

Who_cares, you might think you have no problems with your vista, but this could be why you have 10 AAAs.

It lags on me as well. But then again, I have a 2001 Windows XP.

I hate waiting on the game to show the load screen...

i thought the point of the game was to enjoy the game

and since when did your AAA count determine how well you can detect lag?

i think ive played this game long enough to know when i get lag

If you're really good at timing and you have low AAAs then that does have something to do with lag.

Is FFR Version .791 still 1400k for anyone? I've heard that FFR reverted back to 800k some time ago, and that people should have cleared their cache and tried to reload the game. I've cleared my cache lots of times and am unable to load an 800k version.

It reverted to 800k temporarily, but a few hours later it switched back to 1400k. I've also cleared my cache, yet it stays the same.


What I notice is that I lagged before, but suddenly I'm not (I have Vista too). Maybe they optimized the code?

It's not lagging as bad for me as it was before. Previously, I couldn't read anything 10 or above. But now I can pass all the songs again, but for some reason I get especially laggy on fast streams or when I get a decent combo.

Well, as of now it lags so bad that i miss notes. I can run crysis at smooth fps on high quality, but I cant run ffr.

Yeah, it was fine for a couple days, but I've been noticing the slow return of lag spikes too.

This is rather frustrating. :/
